Publisher's summary

He's cold, hard and undeniably arrogant.

That's how Andrew Blake's best friends describe him.

Bad luck for me that I'm his new assistant.

Nothing I do is good enough.

The more I try and please him, the more he ignores me.

I'm beginning to wonder if there's a heart in that tall, hard, gorgeous body of his.

After work I'm complaining about him to my new best friend—the bartender at the pub near the office.

Guess who's seated behind me and has heard every gripe, grumble and grievance?

By the look in Andrew's eye, I can't tell if I'm going to get fired or kissed.

A standalone romance.

Love it

Anything Shane and Andi do together is almost always excellent. Love Andi’s male voice. She makes me swoon when she’s a he.

Dream voice

Shane East could read the ingredients on a cereal box and make it sound sexy

Andrew and Sofia

An intriguing, captivating and heartfelt journey to go on with Andrew and Sofia. An office romance it the last thing Sofia and Andrew thought they would ever embark on but their chemistry is palpable and their connection is simply undeniable. I loved how Sofia just pushed her way into a job. Everything about this book was charming, I loved it!.

Shane East and Andi Arndt are simply perfect, they are always do a superb job bringing characters/stories to life. I enjoyed listening to them.

Not my favourite book of the series

I loved all the other books in this series - but found this one … well, boring. It just did not grab my attention. Definitely my least favourite Louse Bay book

well Mr...

Louise Bay gives us yet another Mr we want for ourselves. Once you get past his office persona and fall for him, it will be very hard to get over Andrew Bllake. Under, that would be a privilege. Getting over, that's heartbreak.

Learn to love this unique man and find out the truth is always best!

Who is the boss?!

Enjoyable listen! I love this trope! That Sophia just is the BOSS! The way she figures out how to handle and work with Andrew. I loved it! Enjoyed their time in NY! All the Italian!

Narration is well done!

Swoon worthy

I really enjoy this entire series and have from book one. This was a hot steamy mix and it flowed really well.
I especially love the convergence of the gents getting together in each book and assisting each other in some way or another-it connects them all seamlessly and now I’m just dying to get Tristan’s story to round out the bunch.

Great story, unequal voice volumes

I found this story to be intriguing, steamy, and sweet. It won't be a waste of credits to purchase this. Having said that, it seemed to me that the narrators' voice volumes were significantly mismatched. Shane East's voice is so much quieter than Andi Arndt's that I had to turn the volume up to max to hear him. Of course, when it switched back to the female, it was blaring. It became exceedingly irritating having to pause the story so I could adjust the volume but not miss anything potentially important. With today's technology, I think something could have been surely done to fix this. I do intend to listen to the other books in the series, and I hope it was just a fluke with this book.
