I liked their chemistry. I like the trauma she was going through that made her hold back. But nothing else really stood out for me.

I loved this book

The main characters were so good. I loved the male lead! He was sweet and kind but alpha in bed! So hot!

A good couple

Worth is a lovely MMC, and he absolutely deserved Sophia every step of the way. He is the "dad" of his friend group -- always looking out for everyone but himself. His backstory was interesting, and I liked the subplot with his sisters. He instantly falls for Sophia, but he thinks about what everyone else wants first. When it becomes clear that he has a clear field, he takes his chance immediately, but he is also respectful of Sophia's situation. She has had bad news from her family, but she isn't ready to talk about it. Hanging out with Worth is the perfect distraction for her because he is such a great guy. It doesn't take long for her to realize that she needs to encourage him to think of himself, too. They make a balanced couple with terrific chemistry.
The audiobook is very good too. Grayson Owens was new to me, and I liked his calm delivery for Worth. Samantha Brentmoor did her usual lovely job with the emotion and humor.

Very Unexpected

This story wasn’t like any other romance novel I have read. It had unexpected turns at every corner and somehow captured many real reactions that I would imagine in real life. Wild but realistic given the circumstances. Such a great book and I love how the character acknowledged along the way how her actions would affect her friendship and relationship foundation. This is a read you can only put down after the epilogue.

Loved this billionaire with a heart of gold!

Worth Huntington could easily be considered every romance lover’s dream man. He’s a handsome billionaire with a heart of gold who is also the kindest, wisest, most dependable man in New York. He isn’t really the type to get married on a whim, but the minute he meets Sophia Jones the attraction runs deep. She’s beautiful, smart, funny, and he can’t get her out of his mind. When they head to Las Vegas for the wedding of their best friends, they end up in a chapel themselves. He may have made her his bride, but he soon finds out that she is a bit wounded and guarding her heart.

I loved the honest and real approach that Louise Bay took in Sophia’s journey. She has some soul searching to do, and it happens in an authentic way. Worth has the best of best friends who come alongside him in a humorous and genuine way of their own. This group of engaging and unique friends captured my heart from the beginning of this series and haven’t let go. You are certain to fall in love with them, too!

Worth and Sophia’s love story is made all the more enjoyable by experiencing it in audio. Samantha Brentmoor is amazing as Sophia. She brings out her passion for this man and her hesitancy about love. We feel her wounded heart. Grayson Owens gives a perfect portrayal of Worth as this calm, steady man who is everything for everyone. The earnestness and intensity of his feelings for Sophia is palpable. It’s such a wonderful listen!
