I hate Christmas.
As CEO of my company, I’ve banned decorations from the office, festive music from the lobby, and any kind of secret Santa gifts between employees are strictly forbidden.
I’m heading to the airport, away from the Christmas lights and the mulled wine, heading for sunshine and margaritas when I get a call from Granny. She’s sprained her ankle and needs my help filling in for her as head of the village Christmas Committee. Snowsly is the Christmas Capital of England and the last place I want to be in the lead up to Christmas.
But there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for Granny.
When I arrive in Snowsly, I’m introduced to Celia Sommers, who is Christmas’ biggest fan, and, therefore, my own personal nightmare before Christmas. Worse than that, I have to work with her to make Snowsly’s Christmas market a success.
Celia is determined to get me in the festive spirit. It’s not going to work.
It doesn’t matter if she’s smart and funny and easy to flirt with - if she doesn’t stop looking at me with her sparkling eyes and pouting her completely kissable lips, Celia is going straight to the top of my naughty list.

I love all the Christmas!!!
This is a super cute heartfelt, grumpy and sunshine trope. I personally love stories like this! It’s just a good pick me up that we all can use when we need it! And hot 😉

Not my favorite from this author
Louise Bay is a go to listen for me, I love her books. But this one confused me. There was no lead up attraction or hints of desire with the MC just all of a sudden a kiss and sex. I am all for steam but this felt rushed and made no sense to the story. Narrators were great!

Tis The Season
Oh my snow bells, from the first chapter I was hooked on this magical Christmas story set in Snowsly that ticked all the boxes for me. Shane East and Clare Corbett did a wonderful job in bringing this story to life.
Sebastian Fox hates anything to do with Christmas, so much so that he has banned any semblance of Christmas in his company. However the one person he would do anything for is his granny. When she calls and asks him for help, he immediately heads to Snowsly, the Christmas capital of England.
Meeting his total Christmas opposite, Celia Sommers, who loves everything to do with Christmas, he finds he has to work with her to make Snowsly’s Christmas market a success.Celia is determined to drag him into the Christmas spirit and despite himself Sebastian finds he is attracted to her.
The attraction that sizzles between them morphs into a relationship that will ring the for both of them. The secondary characters were entertaining and added an additional layer to this wonderful story. Although not a long story, it was one that will put you in the mood for the holiday season.

A perfect Christmas love story and new favorite!!!
There is not a single thing I didn't absolutely love about this book. I fell head over heels for Snowsly and its quirky, mischievous residents. It was so easy to picture the beautiful lights, decorations, adorable stalls, and bustling crowds of the Christmas market. I could almost smell the goodies being offered, feel the crisp winter air on my cheeks, and taste the heart attack in a cup hot chocolate. It was truly magical.
Grumpy humbug Sebastian having to endure Celia's crazy Christmas jumpers, infectious Christmas spirit, and groan worthy puns was utterly delightful and hilarious. Their time together is sweet, sassy, and oh so steamy!!! Sebastian may be a Grinch on the outside, but I teared up several times over the thoughtful and selfless ways he took care of and came to the rescue of Granny, the town, and Celia. I'd say his heart was always 3 sizes bigger. It just needed a little warming up.
Louise Bay has become an insta-buy for me because of her rich characters, humor, world building, and of course, the sheer level of steaminess. I love that she writes perfect characters for Shane East to bring to life with all of his fabulous leading ladies like Clare Corbett. Who, BTW, is brilliant in Private Player and Promised Nights.

Hallmark with heat!
I adore Louise Bay and this Christmas story was exactly what I needed right now. I love the “Hallmark” style Christmas movie, but really need more heat and steam and that is exactly what Louise delivers in this book. All the holiday ambience, the sweet love story, very little drama or angst, but with the added bonus of steamy scenes that you expect and want in a romance novel, make this the perfect holiday listen. Shane East and Clare Corbett were quintessentially British and perfectly charming in this English countryside small-town romance.
