Excellent Well Balanced Considerations

This is an excellent well balanced book filled with many evidences to consider. Anyone requiring more evidence on this subject should get the authors 900 page two book set. The narrator has a pleasent voice to listen to.

Lots of “miracles” but no documentation . Could simply be the work of a pathological liar who happens to be a religious fanatic.

An excellent and honest study, well-documented healings with complete and thorough scriptural references. My faith was made stronger.

Thought Provoking

Growing up in a conservative Baptist church I was taught that miracles and healings are not for the church today. But Keener has helped convince me that God works today just as He did in Bible times. The book also demonstrates that God doesn't always do things in the way we would expect. Nor does He seem to do things the same way every time. As C S Lewis said in the Chronicles of Narnia, "He isn't a tame lion." But God always has a purpose and He is always good.

I found this book inspiring and it strengthened my faith. Not that I think God has called me to start a ministry of healing (though that would be awesome). Nor do I think God is necessarily going to heal me of a serious life debilitating problem I've had since I was a child. But I can see through the testimonies Keener presents that God is working today and His power, kindness and love have not diminished in the past 2000 years. He is strong and He is in total control. And that is so encouraging in these days.

It is a terrific book, well worth a credit.

Faith Building 101

I enjoyed hearing all of the miracles, most of them verifiable. I will be buying Dr. Keener's other, longer volumes on miracles.
