What is this

This was a quick read. The setting of the story threw me for a loop. Only because I wasn’t excepting it. I thought it flowed well. Give enough back story that it didn’t feel rushed. Seems relatable for being that time frame it was in. I enjoyed this.

i really loved getting the opportunity to listen to this! it was such a good listen, the narrator did an amazing job. i’ve really liked this series since i read it and this audio did it justice!

I JUST WISH IT WAS LONGER!!

his was novella yes I understand that but it was like as soon as the story was starting to unfold it ended.. I just wish it would have had a little more behind the story I gave it 3 stars simply because it was NOT long enough. The narrator for the audiobook did a fantastic job though! The premise of the story also was super interesting and again just wish it was longer.

Fantastic Dystopian MM Romance with Stellar Narration!

Mine to Claim is the first audiobook in E.V. Olsen’s Wasteland Temptations series and is my first book by this author. I am quite sure it will not be my last, though. This MM dystopian novella was surprisingly in depth for such a short story. It’s insta-love for sure (okay, maybe more insta-lust), but doesn’t feel forced or rushed at all and gives a good overview of this new dystopian universe. And the new and evolving relationship between Rex and Devon is equal parts sweet and spicy. I loved everything about this story and can’t wait to see how this series plays out in future books. The solo narration by Tim Paige is absolutely fantastic! He does an excellent job of voicing both the older, caring yet possessive loner, Rex, and the younger, inexperienced, and beautifully-bratty Devon. He flawlessly captures the personalities of both men, making it instantly clear to the listener which character is speaking. Between the wonderful story and the stellar narration, any fan of MM romance will surely love this little gem of an audiobook.

Mine to Claim is the first book in the Wasteland Temptation series. This is a dystopian, MM spicy romance. Rex has been on his own for many years. He rarely has interactions with other people. Since the virus took out most people years ago, life is not easy. There are very few things people can trade with, most commonly their bodies is the only thing. One day a young eighteen year old man tried to rob him. Declan had been watching Rex. This is a fast paced and super spicy book. Can’t wait for more from this series.

Tim Paige did a fantastic job narrating this book.

Great Story Amazing Narration

Hot start to an amazing story! Tim smashes the narration. This is a short novella and quick listen. Definitely worth it!

Mine to Claim is a post apocalyptic story. A virus struck and very few people are left. Some who are left are eating their way through the survivors.

Rex is an older man who is working his way to the Appalachian mountains. Devon is a younger man who has been stalking him for a few days. Devon is starving and wants to do a trade for food.

Rex finds that Devon is just what he wants and needs. And is going to claim him if he can.

This series is starting off HOT! 🔥

Mine to Claim is the first novella in the Wasteland Temptations series from a new-to-me author. The setting is a post-super virus epidemic that has left everyone to fend for themselves. Food is scarce, cannibalism is rising, and sex is used as a form of currency. Rex is a 38yo ex-Special Forces veteran living as a loner, but surviving. Devon is an 18yo that wants to trade his body for a meal. With a one-hour listening time, things progress pretty quickly between these two. There is a semi-cliffhanger, so we will see how these two fare in the next story.

Tim Paige is the lone narrator for this and man, he is so good. His voicing was so precise for the age-gap, the passion, and the emotional struggle between Rex and Devon. Loved it. 5/5 stars! 🌟

Still trying to figure things out lol

it was definitely a great audio performance. Tim did an amazing job! The story had a lot happening in a short time, and I’m still confused on the history lol. But it was nice to listen to.

A perfect short story to pass the day.

Did I eat this in less than day? Yes I did. Am I obsessed with two new characters from EV? You know I am!

Rex and Devon are my new babies and they just wrapped me up in this post-apocalyptic world. Think 28 days later franchise or The Last of Us minus the monsters...although there's always a monster. The way Rex and Dev just mixed so well together was pure bliss and Dev is def that OG brat who will fight you all the way yet worry about you to no end. Both of them have nightmares to exorcise, but that's what survival is all about.

Ok so, besides reiterating my points and rating above, Tim really nailed Rex's voice to a T! I've always said that Audiobooks bring a new side to a book, that makes you enjoy it on a deeper level and that what I felt while listening to this. Listening to that desperation, to that growly moments, to the frustrations and excitement...ugh nailed it all over!!!!! I can' wait to listen to the rest of the series!!!

Daddy Rex for life!

I loved this slutty and steamy novela! We meet Rex in a post apocalyptic world looking for a way to survive. He is found by a cute Devon who is willing to trade sex for food. But this daddy wants more and is possessive and could he be attracted to this hot brat? 10/10 recommend! I read the books and the audio and narrator is perfection!
