Helps with Pain of Fibro

I have been using Tara Brach's work, along with several others, to untangle the mystery of PTSD, fibromyalgia and unexplained debilitating pain. This, along with Radical Self-Acceptance, which sometimes overlaps with this, are the keystones of my healing. I have noticed considerable decrease in pain when used in conjunction with a chakra/gong meditation I found here. I have not experienced anything that had to power to break through cognitive defenses and so lovingly get to the heart of matters as Tara Brach's cds combined with other forms of meditation. You just have to keep practising and being aware of subtle changes in your body, and pain starts moving.

This is an exceptional book.

I am going through an extremely hard time in my life grieving my son. I have listened to this audible over over and it has helped me tremendously. I love Tara’s calm voice and the meditations are healing.

Very helpful

I like this book because it was simple to understand the information was powerful. It spoke to my soul and helped me to move farther down the road with my interpersonal healing. The meditations were peaceful and guided me inward helping me to get in touch with my emotions.

Helpful lessons

I love Tara and her way of teaching, her soothing voice and method of delivery. My only critique is that I wish the meditations were longer. But her teachings are wonderful and this series has some helpful, albeit rather brief, insights and techniques for dealing with trauma and challenging feelings.

Gentle and profound healing for the woulded

I started listening to Tara through the app Calm, watched some of her You Tube presentations, then some Audio books. The Meditations on Emotional Healing are deep, profound, and gentle. Her experience as a therapist working with the broken shines through. I am a survivor of childhood trauma and need lots of resources to help my healing, and her insightful suggestions are really helping me reclaim my inner peace.

Narrates like William Shatner

Just cant listen to her - too many bizarre pauses for effect like William Shatner ! :/
