this is the best deal in audible

and amazing tale filled with epic battles, harsh betrayals and some light humor that here me enthralled for the 6 days it took me to listen to this 52 hour monster. it's narrated so well. sour Thomas Blackstone, and sure Gilbert killbear forever have a place etched into my heart. do yourself a favor and listen to "Master of war"

Outstanding story and narration.

So very enjoyable! Excellent research and the narration and story are first class. Don't want it to end! . . . Edit/update: the above was written during second book section. I will now express that Sir Thomas should have left his sniveling, back-stabbing wife when he had the chance(s).

Great Read (or Listen) on European Historical Fiction

Great historical fiction of the English and French Wars Circe 1350-60. Full of action, romance, war, humor, and hardship.

Amazing!

All 8 books were awesome. 10/10 main character. 10/10 supporting characters. 10/10 narrator. These books pull you in and make you feel like you've lived with these characters through the battles they have fought in during the hundred years war. I am sad that the series ended and will probably need to listen to it again very soon.
