Lovable Hero / Independent (our if necessity) Heroine

I personally loved this book so much and I made me cry a lot. It’s crazy to see how much love two people who grew up in completely different house holds one being warm and full of love the other being cold hearted am creating and adapting survival mode up bringing.

The narrators were able to project the emotions that needed to be portrayed. Even during some scenes that get heated in emotion. This story is so much more than a typical romance and I felt the author depicted some serious challenges that a couple could face. By far one of my favorite la from this series. I honestly remember the whole story than the “steamier” scenes of this book. The story hit me on an emotional level beyond I had anticipated.

Frustration overload

Well written and the voices are done very well. I can’t think of two characters that have been more frustrating in a book though. Half the time I almost gave up and just said they deserve to die alone and miserable because they are so infuriating. Not sure it all worked out.

Frustratingly touching :)

If only abandonment and lack of self worth issues were that easy to resolve in real life lol. Realistic story on not knowing how to let someone love you. Got pretty angsty in the end but wrapped up with the happy ending.

this book follows suit just like the rest of the series I can't wait to move to the next book I have not had one bad story yet. these are awesome hot hot hot ladies.

Great story and narration

I absolutely love this series, as well as the brothers. Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors, and this book, (series), did not disappoint. I really like books narrated by Joe Arden as well!

Nice Sports Romance ❤️🍼🏒💙

This is a story where two people who are content with casual end up in a situation that is far from casual. Stephanie grew up in a home where she was never valued, so she doesn’t work to form strong relationships. Lucas comes from a strong family background, but he is far from wanting to settle down.

When life throws them a hook shot, they have to figure out a way to make it work. As you get to know both of them, you can’t do anything but root for them, even as they both stubbornly hang on to what they know best.

The narrators do a good job. I enjoyed this story.

Another fun and steamy book in the Cold Fury serie

This time we have Lucas, brother to Max who we previously met when he got together with Jules and her nephews and niece. Lucas is a bit of a player and he goes after what he wants. He and Stephanie have a one night stand, but when the condom breaks, they're thrust together as parents to be. Stephanie grew up in a loveless home and doesn't know how to let other people in, meanwhile Lucas wants to be there for her and take their relationship to the next level. I got frustrated with Stephanie when she wouldn't give Lucas a chance to show her that he loved her and she ran away. Lucas was overall a good guy, but he can be hurtful too.
I loved seeing Max and Jules again and this was a super quick, fun read. Lucas was so good for Stephanie, showing her what a family should be like and giving her support. The narration was great, Joe Arden did a wonderful job.

Loved it

I loved this book couldn't put it down. Lucas Fournier and his brother Max and his fiance Jules and Van Turner his teammate from the Cold Fury team are attending a black-tie gala to raise money for the museum. Lucas sees a beautiful red head Stephanie Frazier the director of acquisitions and soon they start talking and soon they leave for drinks and they end up at Stephanie's place. Four weeks later the team is celebrating their win at their usual spot at Hoolihan's, when Luc sees the Stephanie walking through the door, but she has shocking news for him. Stephanie is pregnant and Luc tells her that he wants to be involved in the childs life. Luc and Stephanie agreed to continue their casuale affair, but things changed when they both started to have feelings for each other. Stephanie had a terrible upbringing thanks to her parents so openning up to love Lucas was hard for her and after telling each other hurtfull things they broke each others hearts. After Stephanie is in an terrible accident that she ended in the hospital, Lucas immediately goes to her and hopefully gets through to her.

I love all Cold Fury series

I love all cold fury series, and this one did not disappoint. It’s more than sports romance. Each story can be listened as a stand alone but best to listen in order. Highly recommend!

I have listen to all of these books. although I've enjoyed them all. I am totally disappointed that they don't follow through with their stories. woman are having babies but only one has has a baby and named it. I buy these stories because I love the ones with children. I need to know what happens with them. great story line but lacking in story details for me.
