Good story tho I'd have enjoyed it even darker. Loved Sensation York as Kallen and CJ was great as Izzy.

Lack of Stalking

I felt like this was very amateur writing. We get it, she has curves. I love a curvy fmc but oh my goodness on and on. Very little stalking for a book with stalk me in the title. Also who is this guy? I’m just picturing like a security guy at Macys but he has a lot of guns and stuff? Why. I just thought it wasn’t great.

Fantastic Debut!

This was such a fun story! It was also a great debut! Cal and Izzy had chemistry from their first glance and it only grew throughout the story. The plot was seriously fun.

She works in a high end department store as the Manager and he’s retired military, now head of security for her store. There have been a ring of thefts and Cal is there to get to the bottom of it. He’s got some intelligence skills that he takes beyond the store to get closer to Izzy. Through an AI fake boyfriend app they chat about the everyday and her deepest fantasies. Also her friend Amanda was the absolute best side character and had me cackling.

This was such a fun plot and just kept me invested throughout. This is what I’d call a fluffy dark romance. It’s a great place to get into dark romance for someone wanting to dip their toes in for the first time! I did figure out the twist at the end pretty early on, though not the extent of it.
