A haunting favorite from childhood, well read. One of Duncan's best. The narrator is exceptional.

Really wasn’t sure what to expect— really, I was expecting that it couldn’t be as captivating, entertaining, and worthwhile as it was the first time I read it so long ago. It was everything I had hoped it would be, and more!

Re-read, just as good

I love this book more and more every time I read it; I only wish there was a second book from Josie's point of view starting at the end of this one.

Lois Duncan is amazing

I read the actual book numerous times when I was a teenager and finding it again as an audio book is amazing. One of my favorite stories is available for me to listen to now that I’m blind.
While this might not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s an amazing story. Nothing graphic, no foul language, no sexual content. It makes you use your minds eye to visualize each scene/character.

Takes me back to my teen years
