Didn't want it to end and want a sequel!

A wonderful book, great storyline, likeable characters and excellent narration. I highly recommend it! A+++

Sherryl Woods doesn't disappoint

This is another wonderful continuation of the Chesapeake Shores saga. The O'Briens aren't prominently featured, but the new characters are charming and real. I won't divulge too many details here for fear of spoiling it, but be assured that Sherryl Woods did another great job with this book. I can't wait to read the next installment!

loved it sad there is no more Cheaspeak shores now

this book was a great way to listen on a long drive. I've been waiting out to read it because it sadly is the last in the series. but I fell back in love with seaside town once again and felt I knew each one of the characters as friends.

A pleasant read

This is a very pleasing study of a close extended family of Irish background working in their east coast restaurant. Multiple generations deal with life's problems, while some meddle (in a well-intentioned, and usually successful way) to bring harmony.

The reader portrayed different characters well, but the volume of her voice varied from sometimes almost inaudible to almost shouting. That was annoying and sometimes uncomfortable to my ears. Otherwise, this was a good read.

Simply awesome!

I love the storyline, I love the way the characters got together and I love that the relationships were developed. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great love story

Lame ending

I have always enjoyed the Chesapeake Sores O’Brien family saga. This one lacked plot resolution. It made for a very flat ending.

She does it again!

Only Sherryl can pull off so many great novels using this family. I can only hope for more.

predictable and fake

I have no doubt a lot of readers like this series, but I found it so boring I couldn't finish it. The strory is unexciting and so predictable, you could see every plot turn a mile away. there was zero sexual/romantic chemistry between the main couple and the story seemed to rely on inconsequential chitchat between side characters to fill the pages. So much so, that it was hard to remember who the story is supposed to be about.
The novel was crammed full of 2-dimensional cutsie cute fake-Irish characters that only exist in the imagination of someone who never went to Ireland
The narrator did her best, I can forgive a few mistakes in pronunciation, but she was so intent on the Irish accent that everyone started to sound the same, even the Americans or New Yorkers started to sound a little Irish too
