Great Story

What a fantastic story. Both the story and the people in the book were described wonderfully. There is some sexual content but not as much as other Sheryl Woods books.

Easy Listening

liked the story and the narration. The ending was a little abrupt & could have continued a bit to have a better finish.

Easy listen, enjoyed it

I liked that the female main character had a corporate, successful career - that was refreshing.

A Better Title…

“A Woman Has Her Life Controlled by 2 Lying Withholding Men”
Ok; maybe that’s a long title but the misogyny in the book is astounding. At one point the “romantic interest” tells a woman who is a multi millionaire successful NY business owner that “maybe she’s finally growing up” because she’s considering taking care of a kid.
And the whole story revolves around a dead male caretaker who lied to her decades ago to control her and sets up a crazy-scheme will to control her life from the grave.
WOW. I’m a man and I can’t believe the misogyny in the book.
Some of the backstory helps it a bit but this book is a great example of a successful woman being held back and down by men.
