very intriguing
There was a lot of explaining that took place throughout the entire book. It was a little much. I understand it was necessary for the story to unfold. Other than that, I couldn't get enough. I can't wait to read the next book.

I definitely did not see the plot twist coming with this book. I do like the dark Hunger Games vibes. The world-building wasn’t confusing.
