Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. The book provides a good foundation for aspiring foreign language students.
What did you like best about this story?
Although it does not contain specific foreign language lessons, it does provide excellent information for developing a proper mindset and motivation for learning a foreign language. Anthony provides plenty of links and resources to some of the world's leading language teachers.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Ron Phillips?
I would have liked to have heard a narrator who could properly pronounce the handful of foreign language words and phrases. Although the content and Anthony's content is sound and is quite useful, this narrator's mis-pronunciations are distracting and detracts from the credibility of the content. The author should take some extra care in choosing knowledgeable and experienced narrators for each of his language books - an expert in the given language for each of his language books. I believe this would greatly add to the credibility of the content.
Any additional comments?
I would like to have seen a few more detailed examples of the Magnetic Memory Method in practice, and less space in the book dedicated to testimonials. Some testimonials are fine, the amount in this book was a distraction.
