Great book love it!

I wish I had had these tools and methods spelled out to me forty years ago when I learned my first foreign language. I think these techniques ought to be taught in school. They can be used to learn many things in addition to language.

don't waste your money.

it doesn't teach you anything. it only said things you already know. for example, it stated if you wanted to improve your English, read articles online. that is it.

Most are useful.

I wish I have known about this audio guide sooner before I had the interview with a client. I remember him telling me that I wasn’t a good fit for the position because he is looking for someone who has an American accent. That got me thinking. Hearing Whitney’s words prompted me to set my goals and keep track of my progress every day. Some of the tips here are the usual ones but most are useful!

The physical copy would also provide convenience.

I wished it comes up with the phrases I need for working and succeeding in English. Nevertheless, I had a satisfying read with this as the author tacklers on the common hindrance learners meet during their course of their study. I can’t wait to apply the tips here with my online language partners.

A realistic English audio guide.

While the book may be more on preparing oneself in learning the language, it has impressed me, indeed. The idea of being fluent with it makes me more excited to explore and apply the principles.

packed with helpful details

Whitney and be very persuasive and I like that. She drives her learners aggressively with rational action plan. One of her ideas is for us to absorb ourselves with the English language and if it means listening and practicing it 24 hours a day, I’ll be happy to oblige. She definitely knows what she’s talking about.

be creative!

A very practical one. The author motivates us to have a goal before anything else. This makes learning easier and attainable. It has given me a lot of ideas on how to be creative enough for learning to take place whether you’re in an English-speaking country or not.

A must-read riveting audiobook.

I’ve been spending hours on books and CD set just to get to enjoy the English movies I love to watch, but sadly, to no avail. I was in the verge of giving up until I found this riveting piece. It’s for adults like me who feel like they are already old to learn. This book gave me hope and the confidence I need to finish the lesson.

Master the English language for adult learners

One of the few excellent books you can try if you want to master conversational American English and it targets adult learners. I’m slowly gaining ideas when it comes to the common words and phrases. I can perfectly understand what’s happening in this book.
