So good

I really loved Legends of Thezmarr so I was very happy to be able to dip back into the world again.

Plot was fantastic. Be prepared for emotional damage.

Love. Love. Love. Cannot wait for book 2! It cannot come out fast enough. I loved Blood & Steel, and this book was the perfect follow-up to the series.

Amazing voices for storytelling

I cried at the end. Such an amazing story. The voices made this book even better

Very slow burn but great relationship building a bit of heart clenching moments and action! Love these characters. Torj is scrummy

Iron and embers

I love this story, I love the Thezmarr world so much. The narrator for Wren was awesome, but I really, really struggled with Torj’s narrator. Torj always felt darker and harder. This narrator made him sound almost haughty sometimes. Cocky when I feel like Torj’s character was usually more earnest. I love this story but was really disappointed in the Torj narrator.

This was so beautiful. And devastating. I need book 2 immediately. I need to know what happens with these two. 😭

I know it did not just end like that and I have to wait on the next one.

The voice actors were incredible

Iorn and embers was such a whirlwind, it combined everything that I loved about the legends of thezmarr into a new adventure. Seeing the effects of the shadow war five years after the main series was intresting. Wren was such a strong character from blood and steel, and now delving into her world and the bear slayers was something else. Their relationship was such a slow burn but in such a good intense way. As well with with the bodyguard trope, I was swooning. The cliffhanger was slightly haunting can’t wait till the end of July

An excellent continuation of a fantastic series!

I loved this book so much. I was so drawn in by Torj and Wren in the Legends of Thezmarr series, so this extension of the story, with them taking the lead, was fantastic. Wren's arc in the book is so well done and compelling. I loved the dual POV. I was engaged top to bottom while reading and enjoyed the evolution of Torj and Wren as both individuals and as romantic foils.

I finished the series about Thea and Wilder a few days before this one came out, and the continuity of the story details between the series was fantastic. The evolution of the supporting cast of characters from Legends of Thezmarr to this trilogy was exciting and true to the original series.

The audiobook was well done, the voice actors excellent and their cadence was quite good. It's a great companion to the book, if you're listening and reading! The voice actors never lulled me or made me complacent in my listening.

Sequel Series win

I loved Thea and Wilder in the Legends series. Wren and Troj continue the forbidden love story so well. Heartbreaking cliffhanger.
