Excellent. If you are preparing for the Atlanta workshop given by her dad, this gives you a fantastic summary of the process. You will do an abbreviated version of this and you won't be sorry if you can internalize this information before you go

Very informative for newcomer

good overview I got a lot more out of it the second listen it has good examples and even gives detail of strategies it is a little dry but narrator does try to have a little humor here and there will listen to again great into to investing world

Great for the person just entering the investment arena and also those experienced investors who still have questions on the basics. Well worth the time to listen and read.Benefit from the emotional journey author relates while presenting her resistance, reluctance and eventual acceptance of the "numbers" of value investing.

Best investment for your future self

If you're trying to save for retirement, or are new to investing in general, but don't know where to start, then this is a great book. The authors aren't trying to sell any scheme or program; they're just offering a common sense approach backed up by history and math. There's really nothing in the book that can't be found on the Bogleheads website (which I also highly recommend), but I found it still a great read as a concise introduction to the world of investing.

Great Book, Gets Straight to the Point

A very good guide book for learning how to invest your money in the stock market. It is explained in easy to understand words and graphs. Got me up to speed in understanding why passive index fund investing is the only worry free long term strategy that consistenly wins, and why active trading always returns to the mean.
