It hit me like a brick!

I am so glad that I read this book. Anyone who is saving for retirement should read this book. I finished it in two days. This guy talks a lot of sense and really changed my thinking about how to save properly and help me understand the realities of what mutual funds are and how expensive most of them actually are. I change my investment strategy completely after reading this. I highly recommend this book.

Very helpful, very easy to implement

When it comes to investing, many of us fall shy to the technical terms and skills of successfully managing our finances and investments. As a recent medical school grad, I have become very consciousness about my debts and personal finances. I always have known how important it was to invest early, but simply did not how how to approach personal finance

Excellent Advice on Wealth Building

Excellent book, lots of tips and tricks for general investing. I mistakenly bought it specifically for ETF guidance but this is a more generalist book, everything from stocks to small business with a little bit of property investment also.

Excellent Personal Guide for Finances

This book is easy to read, not too long, and contains very practical advice for any physician. It’s a good one to read especially for residents or early career physicians, but has some good advice for medical students as well. The ‘live like a resident’ mantra is not a new concept, but illustrates how helpful it can be in reaching your financial goals. This book is worth getting even if you read articles on the website.

Love the Step by Step Process....

Benjamin's work has been invaluable to me and my novice investing career. Well written, audio-book is well spoken. Very simple to understand and Benjamin never turns a corner he can't conquer academically and professionally in his writing. Highly recommend!

Good introduction for beginners.

Very clear, concise, and complete guide to dividend paying stocks and how to invest in them. No fluff or filler. This book is quite simple to understand. Among all the stock's investment, high dividend stock's investment is probably the only easy and low risk way to get returns. Timing makes all the difference. If you are new to trading or wanting to begin your journey in the Stock Market or a long time veteran like me, buy these books. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Matt gets right to the point without all the fluff about his own experiences and those of the other traders he has interviewed, etc.

Great Starting Point!!!!

For a first-time investor starting off, I have been befuddled by all the jargon that is used when managing an investment portfolio; and of course, since I have very little capital to begin with, I cannot reasonably obtain the services of a financial planning professional to help me make sense of things. This was a great book to take my first step into learning about investing. The book was thorough in the fundamentals of investments such as stock market terminology and ratio meaning and how to use those ratios to make a decision.

Its a great book for people who wants to start into the investing world. Whether investing in yourself or investing in a business are almost as important all together. You have to be honest and know yourself and study and be clear on what business you want to invest on. I totally agree on the part about savings vs. investing. On saving your money at the bank and staying in your comfort zone and be mediocre. Waiting until you retire and about to die. This book light up my understanding about investing. good book ever i like this book

So informational!

If the thought of owning real estate has ever even crossed your mind, this is the book for you. It is extremely easy to read and is PACKED with all of the info that you will need to begin investing in real estate. It is a comprehensive guide that first asks you if real estate is right for you by providing the negative aspects/risks of owning real estate. It follows that up with providing information about every aspect of investing, owning, and managing your property. An instant classic! Unlike all the bear market predictions, and other polyanna prognistications of the dow sky rocketing, this book, which was sorely needed, gets at the true nature of the stop and start history of equity markets.

Best book for investing

Pretty solid information. Very easy to understand, and it will help you in real-life investment situations. Need the book for a class and was happy to find out that I paid less than most of my classmates for the book. If you're starting out on investing, this book is a very-much appreciated start and this is coming from a fellow newbie. I really appreciated the addressing of the facts from fiction on the consumer economics behind the investment sector. The sector that monitors sectors. I believe this book sets the tone of the proper perspective one should have before investing. As I write this review every other review for this great little book gives it five stars and that is well deserved.
