Boring

The author is a very good writer and the narrator was excellent, but the story itself was painfully slow, tedious, and boring. I finally gave up at the end of chapter 14 because I found myself wondering why I was even continuing listening.

I had hoped I would enjoy this but it's extremely frustrating to listen for so many hours and nothing ever happens. Not a horror book at all. It's more of a study of the most minute details of the main character's life.

I enjoyed listening to it. Albeit your twisted views of come of the elements of Christianity you mentioned. I hope there is a sequel. It just ended! In a random spot

This was not what I was expecting

I loved this book! It was not fully what I expected, but totally worth the read.

No ending No interview

I was very dedicated to reading this book which in the beginning I found to be very interesting and at times thought provoking. The title intrigued me so I was extremely surprised when the book just ended with no provoking interview. This was very disappointing and I truly hope there will be a part 2.

Wtf was that ending? What a let down to end like this. When you finally get to Lucifer and his side of things it just ends?

The first half of the book was very long winded with characters that No one could like

love this book

this is a must read. it pulls you in and doesn't let you go until the end which was a let down. but everything before the end keeps you intrigued.

A slow burn

The story takes its time to creep you out. I enjoyed the rising horror tremendously as you gain insight into the mind of the character and fall into the story.

Really enjoyed this novel. When it came to the actual “interview”, really wished Joe’s questions were more intense and he had asked more about the things he had been seeing since childhood and the voices. Still a solid book.
