Interesting

Intermittent Fasting for Women 30 Day Challenge is packed full of information. This book is short but honestly should be digested one section at a time; there is just that much content. This book is ideal for someone who is considering intermittent fasting (IF). I found the history and health benefits of IF very interesting. My only disagreement is the author’s personal opinion on willpower. There is plenty of research out there that provides information on the chemical changes that the brain undergoes when dieting which drives behavior; it’s not all about a lack of desire or “willpower”. The narrator did a nice job. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Meh.

I was excited to jump into this audiobook. I've heard of IF and I've practiced it here and there, I was curious what was so different since this book is targeted towards women. Nothing really. I didn't like how the author made it seem like IF was the answer to everyone's failed diet attempts. Eating right but not losing weight? It's cause you're not fasting. Working out but not losing weight? It's cause you're not fasting. IF is apparently the cure-all to some chronic illnesses too. She made some pretty exaggerated claims which made me lose interest in the book. I'm sure this audiobook may be informative for some, unfortunately it wasn't for me.
