Following the guidelines in this book has helped me lower my set-weight point. Before fasting, I could never stay under a certain weight. Now, I've been under that weight for over 5 months, easily. Such a relief. It’s OK to not eat! I am so tired of worrying about the right food, the wrong food, how much food, when to eat food, etc, etc, etc! I am exhausted and fed up with my weight. I work out 4 times a week doing boot camp at 5 am and yoga too and STILL the weight crept up. I frequently cycle a hundred miles on long distance bike events. I DON‘T DRINK SODA! But still the weight kept coming. This book has allowed me to finally relax and breathe. I don’t think about any meals now. I am worry and stress free! I’ve been doing this a few weeks, doing a 20-24 hr fast every day. I only think about eating dinner when I get home and my only goals are to limit carbs and finish by 8 pm. My body is dropping weight fast and I’m so happy I could almost cry. It’s simply a relief to know that I am no longer ruled by food and arbitrary times to eat. Hunger passes is what the book says and it’s true. I only wish I had found out about this sooner.
