Hmmmmm🤔

Female narration was ok, let's just get that out of the way. Angie, yea she was very gullible. She allowed herself to be bullied & then to have a mom that basically tells you it's not ok to defend yourself, is asinine. Dev's reasoning for getting with her enemy was b*llsh*t, and she ate that up too. Devin acted...like father like son, he betrayed Aiden by sleeping with his girlfriend - regardless of the circumstances. Angie & Devin did belong together, they were horrible people. With friends like that, who needs enemies?! 😒 Aiden deserved better. I think that I heard Part 3 before, either in another one of the author's book, or didn't realize this was a past purchase & return. They did not deserve a HEA together. Dev was big on recounting, but not at all for taking accountability...Dev tried to justify his betrayal & damn Aiden's character when he wasn't around to defend himself. I can see why this was rated low...not a very satisfying story...the betrayers win 🙄.

My all time favorite read EVER!!!

Oh wow, it been a while but I’ve read this book several times. It just breaks me in such a way that only Siobhan can put me back together again. It’s so gut wrenchingly beautiful I can’t even describe it. I’ve read it like three or maybe even four times but when I was offered a chance to listen to it…I knew I couldn’t let the opportunity pass me by. There is so much angst, love, passion, lies, secrets and mystery that it just grabs you in the feels and will not let go. Devin is the one who has the troubled childhood and spins out of control so you never expect the turmoil to come from Aiden but come it does…in buckets and buckets of distress. Angie is their best friend since grade school and they are three amigos that are joined at the hip…until puberty and life tear them apart…bit by bit…heartbreak by heartbreak…it’s obvious from page one that both of the gorgeous guys are head over heels for Angie…so the end is a shock I NEVER saw coming. And I can usually figure out the plot and what’s next in almost any read but this one…well it threw me through the roof. Even though this is like my fourth or fifth read through I cry big ugly sobbing tears every SINGLE time. Today was no different, while I was suppose to be sleeping I was lying in my bed listening to their tragic story and bawling my eyes out. I’m broken once again for these characters…it’s so idk what but it’s so something lol. I can never get enough of this read and I’m not one who usually rereads books. But this one I’ll read every chance I get. Now have both an audible and an ebook copy I can enjoy it twice as often. Thanks Siobhan for just being the amazing author that you are!!!

I loved the idea of best friends forever

I liked it until the last chapter of the 2nd part, then you lost me. I found the main female character very whiny. So I put the book down and can't pick it back up.

A heartbreaker!

What a beautiful heartbreaking story this is. The narrators really brought the story to life! The inflection of there voices are very expressive and bring the story to life. Now the story…. Will pull every emotion out of you. Definitely one that will be on repeat for me!

So Many Feels

This book is amazing and had me feeling so many emotions. it grabs you and doesn't let go. It's a story of 3 best friends who vow to always be there for each other and to always stay together. As they get older, secrets start to create cracks in their friendship. They have to learn to navigate the changes in the friendship and learn how to forgive. The story has a lot of twists and turns - make sure you grab the tissues.

The audible version brings so much life to this book and the narrators do a great job of conveying the emotions of the story.

All the Angst!

I cannot even express the emotions this book brought out in me. This book was an angst filled “disaster” that I could not look away from. Lia Holland and Michael Gallagher delivered a phenomenal performance in this duet audiobook, conveying every emotion and vulnerability perfectly. Five stars to Siobhan Davis for pushing me out of my comfort zone with this beautiful, emotionally charged story will all the passion and angst a reader could desire!

Angsty and emotional!

Angsty, heart-wrenching, emotionally consuming, and full of those trademark Siobhan Davis twists.

As always, it's impossible to talk about the brilliance and pain and beauty of this story without revealing too much- so this will have to stay vague. A bit of coming of age, first love growing pains, a love triangle, and a lot of emotional angst. Three friends, once inseparable. Now separated, but a lot more than we know. Than they know. And a story told in three parts- three time periods that encapsulate the journey of these characters, their growing up and growing apart, and all the drama. And each one is an emotional rollercoaster.

There's tragedy, there's secrets, there's twists and emotional destruction, misunderstandings and deceit. SO MUCH ANGST. So much change and heartache. But also so much love. This book will wreck you HARD, but it also has healing and hope- bittersweet joy and happiness. All the beauty in the wreckage of these characters' journies.

Audio: I listened to the newly recorded audio featuring duet narration, and GASP what an experience that way. As if this story could feel more emotionally immersive- the duet narration beautifully done by Lia Holland and Michael Gallagher is fantastic. Lia is SO emotionally expressive and wonderful as our heroine Angelina. And Michael does a great job bring both men to life- I found he had an alluring tenderness to his voice but also plenty of edge, which let him embody both characters well. And their duet chemistry is great.

One of Siobhan's most emotionally resonant and wonderfully penned romances ever. And the audio is definitely an immersive and heart-hitting way to consume it.

miscommunication trope is not my thing

I liked the character development in the story and while there were many parts that really pulled on the heartstrings I found this was really slow moving. By the 3rd part I started to skip forward and almost DNF. I was not surprised by the twist. The back and forth of Angelina wanting to understand why and right when she's about to be told she's too mad and no longer wants to know was exhausting. The epilogue was satisfying and the narrators did an amazing job at bringing the characters to life.

What A Book!

Let me start off by saying, there were times in this book where I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get through the whole thing. There were so many twists and turns and unexpected revelations. Don't get me wrong, the book was very good. However, I don't know that I have to listen to It again. The narration of both characters It was fantastic and overall. I highly recommend it but be prepared that it has a lot of emotions and a lot of angst.
