The opportunity of a lifetime!

When Rachel Russel heard she had been selected for her college’s Antarctic-astronomy research program, she was flabbergasted. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity would make her childhood dream of visiting Antarctica come true! She had no idea the thick snow and ice of this secluded region would become the scene for the most terrifying adventure of her lifetime.

Hiding her faith from the world!

Rachel believed in God with all her heart, but in order to participate in this program, she had to hide her faith. According to the scientists responsible for the program, faith is the opposite of science, so Rachel had to keep her love for Jesus for herself. This was heartbreaking because she felt like she was lying to herself. That’s when Jacob, one of her classmates, stood up for her even though he didn’t believe in God. Rachel was amazed by his courage and immediately fell for him. Finally, she had someone she could trust in this godforsaken place. But not for long....

A murder in the snow!

One of the scientists manning the research station had been found dead, and nobody knew who did it. He had been brutally stabbed in the back and suddenly...everyone was a suspect. Rachel now has to find the killer before he or she commits another gruesome murder. It’s a battle against an evil presence that will put Rachel’s faith to the test. Who could have possibly done it? Now it’s up to Rachel to bring justice....

Are you ready for a spine-tingling Antarctic mystery?

Rachel Russel, a new Christian, comes face-to-face with a horrible murder, and she is the only one who knows how to find the killer. Will she find the murderer? Will Jacob come to faith? Will Rachel make it out of Antarctica alive? You will have to find out for yourself!

Great narration

The story was okay, a bit short and corny at times. The narration was great. I received a review copy and voluntarily left this review.

A Bit Too Short

The characters were developed just enough to grab the attention of the reader. The story though felt a bit rushed to end leaving a feeling of a child's toy they started to play with being taken away.

A very short story

The story is short, just over 1 hour. A little longer would have made the story better I think. I am assuming book 2 contnues the story. I will listen to book 2 next.

The narration was very good. I would lsiten to Julie Marshall again.

Very juvenile

It felt like something written for kids. It was a quick read with not enough there to really build a mystery. It felt like it was written mostly to show how religious the FMC is and how this religion can help her solve crimes with very little clues or information.
