⚠️ Warning the book is full of Triggers⚠️ I do enjoy the way Shandi Boyes writes a story and gets you all worked up in all the right ways. With that being said…I don’t like when it gets a bit repetitive(in my opinion)if you’re not paying attention that’s your own fault, it’s not the authors job to repeat it back to you! It definitely needed more smexy times👄 the narration was okay it could’ve been better that’s the only reason it didn’t get a perfect rating. Thank goodness this dark mafia romance is a standalone book that ends with an HEA.❣️ You’re probably wondering is it worth the credit? Oh Yes Kitten💋it’s so worth it!

Fantastic book made better on audio

The narrators Isabelle Turner and Noah B. Perez did a great job of bringing Rico and Blaire to life. Shandi has a way of painting incredible pictures in her books…”She is my light in a world full of blackness”. Fantastic book/ audio. Fantastic author!

I’m not easy to surprise

It’s not easy to surprise me and it happened a couple of times in this book. Worth the credit for sure. I will definitely listen to it again.

it was okay

The narrators did an excellent job.

it had a good premise but I felt it was missing something. it would have been nice to get a back story for MMC and FMC.
I got annoyed how she forgot everything. The beginning okay but the rest, it was always a mystery to her. 🙄
what is with females not fu$king listening when it comes to safety.
she wouldn't have not gotten shot if she listened!!!
so tired of books when females don't listen in terms of safety.

such good story telling

okay so I listen to the first 4 books of the Isabelle story again great story telling. this author has such good creativity in her ideas it's just her repeating of the same things over and over. plus everything character has the same thought process and all the same sexy talk. while I love all additions and twists and turns and works on all the feels she really needs some editing help to fix these problems. NOTH NARRATORS WERE AMAZING 👏

i really hate the FMC

i only kept listening because I paid for it and I loved the narrators. the story was horrible. literally everyone "smirked" and the FMC was really dumb. like ridiculously dumb
