Characters

Some books just stand out more than others. This one is like that. The ML is hot, out spoken, and needs to be my neighbor. Even though I rolled my eyes at the FL a few times I still got caught up in their story. Great job!

WOW....

I cannot write enough good things about this author and this book. I loved Isaac and Isabelle's story and now with Hunter and Paige! Shandi fits this story with that of Isaac and Isabelle by mentioning the night at the gala and Hunter talking with Hugo about watching Isabelle on NY's Eve because he's unavailable and not close to town. Then Paige giving her private book to Hunter the title of "Enigma". I have completely enjoyed all of the books I've listened to so far! Cannot wait to for Hugo's story to come out in audible.

Loved it

I really enjoyed this story it has a funny plot and a lot of funny moments and good main characters. I felt like there could have been a little more to the plot tho it went kind of fast from the breakdown point to the makeup point and ended quickly after but it was short and sweet !

This book was ok, the narration was not

The story told here was decent. The writing was a little too flowery and wordy in parts but it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately the narrator did nothing but bring an already mediocre book to its knees. The proofing and editing of the audio was, as far as I can tell, non-existent. There were so many mispronunciations, badly placed emphasis on wrong syllables, poor inflection and repeating of lines that should have been overwritten/replaced instead that I lost count. It's difficult to believe that there's a professional narrator out there who doesn't know how to pronounce the word 'lapel' but this book has proof. If you're interested in this book, read it yourself, don't waste the money on the audio.
