Honest and heartwarming

Such a realistic look at what it's like
To be a mom. Complete with all the words and phrases we all want to say but have to simply think out of fear our little ones will repeat! Thank you for the serious chapter! People are never going to honest about things like that. It's great for new moms to know hat these thoughts are normal and they aren't crazy! 4 stars!!!

Laughed the whole time

This book is amusing. in some ways i found it relatable and in others it made me feel better about myself as a parent. It is definitely a good book for any parent and as long as you dont mind some swearing will be a great read.

Would you listen to I Heart My Little A-Holes again? Why?

I have listened to it three times already! It is hilarious and I make my friends who are new parents listen to certain parts while we are driving around. It makes them feel normal and takes away their guilt.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of course Karen! She is supper funny! I was shocked how revealing she was in the "serious chapter".

Have you listened to any of Karen Alpert’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I follow her blog, Baby Sideburns. The book is a tidbit on her daily life as a mom.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A mom's raw view of what being a parent really feels like some days.

so as a dad, I can't help but laugh. 90% of this is things my wife and i say constantly, the rest is overlooked because my stay at home mom of a wife has no life or friends. well friends that live near us. or at all.

Hilarious

This book had me laughing out loud! The only disappointment is that the PDF that she references multiple times throughout the book was not included.

Yes I would, as long as she stops talking about poop so much.

Karen's kids sound awesome. They are the main characters after all....

Did I Heart My Little A-Holes inspire you to do anything?

When I have kids, I will definitely not take everything so seriously. Just enjoy them and all of the little experiences that come with them.

Any additional comments?

Karen desperately tries to be so funny with her "Eff this" and "eff that" but then she'll just say the word f**k. Her constant obsession with discussing poop does get old after a while. And her sing-song voice is painfully annoying after the first 5 minutes but overall it is a funny book. And for the love of God, stop calling it Tar-ghay....Thats so beyond annoying.
