The books that got me out of my reading slump

I fell in love with these 2 books. I love zade meadows. No other words.

Fantastic!

100000000/10 Seriously such a good follow up to the first book. The voices make this story come alive. I wish every book was recorded exactly like this one.

M-Mature. Not for the faint of heart.

Highly triggering book— evokes just about every complicated emotion you can fathom, and ending on another cliffhanger. Do not come into this thinking it will be in any way a soft romance. This is pain-inflicting, especially if you can relate at all to the turmoil of Adeline & Zaid. If you think you can handle the violence, gore, torture, r*pe, murder, abuse, etc. that this book contains, go ahead and press play.

Wow. This book.

This book is great. It starts as the beginning of the end of her last book. I was not expecting what I read of what happened to Adaline. Amazing book all over. voice actors are good, story line is good. I really liked this book.

best book series I have ever read.

I'm devastated it's over. I'm about to start it all over again. absolutely breathtaking.

SMUTTY

extremely intense. LOVE both narrators, they do an amazing job. i did really enjoy the store line, i kind of wish there was more of that and not as much smut. i do love myself a smutty book but at times it just got kind of old like alright already let’s get on with the rest of the story but i did still love it! the first one was my fav though! definitely listen to it, you won’t regret it!

Chef’s kiss!

Okay this book is intense and some of its subject matter is hard to get through. If you thought the first one was something, this one is entirely a new beast. Read trigger warnings of course. Intense, well written and thought provoking. This book affected me in real life and as dark and twisted and delicious as it was, it also was cruel and unforgiving. It’s a hard thing to balance in one story but done so perfectly here. The cruelty makes the growth so much more - completely worth it if you can get through it!!

This book is so much darker than the first one, so again, definitely check your triggers before going into this book.

I am so glad I gave these books a chance. I've always been scared to read dark romance books, but I ended up loving these. I love Addie and Zade so much!

There were so many parts of this book that were difficult to read. I loved Addie's growth throughout these two books, and seeing her take her power back was awesome. I love how patient and understanding Zade was with her, and how he worked with her to help her overcome her trauma. I enjoyed seeing Sibby in this book again and the comic relief she brought to the story, especially with her interactions with Zade. Those two had me laughing out loud so much. I'm definitely going to go back and read Satan's Affair.

Teddy Hamilton and Michelle Sparks once again did an outstanding job with this audiobook. I can't imagine anyone else doing the voices for these characters. Their performance keeps you engaged with the story from beginning to end and they do an amazing job of showcasing the emotions this story brings out.
