Damn Good!!

I haven't had the pleaser of actual true and real Dark gritty raw romance and then some in a very long time. > could not our this listen down. I have to Thank this amazing author for being true to herself as a writer. Loved this. I cannot wait to listen to more from this amazing and special author. I absolutly love twisted dark wild and CrAzY cross the line type romance with some thriller/suspense thrown in and some action to. Not to mention she made this into two longer books instead of breaking her books up into 3 or 4 shorter books you have to wait on. No, she did us right. Other authors can learm a thing or two from this talented woman.

Spicy!!! With a great storyline, there is stalking, S&M, a hero killing sex trafficking monsters!

Captivated

Both narrators did an amazing job. The male voice is perfect as Zade in my opinion. This book is very, very spicy, however it has many triggers and kinks that may be uncomfortable for many. The author’s details are captivating as you fall in love with Zade and Ade’s relationship. I highly recommend this book if you are ready to be on edge in a good and bad way.

HOLYYYYY

Oh my goodness!!!! There’s no way a book could make me feel like this. I felt every single emotion while listening to this book. The way it was written could be a movie. Just copied and pasted into a script and add real people and boom movie. I cannot wait to get the next book. It’s been awhile since I gave a 5 star review and I don’t regret my choice now!

Unsure

I was unsure of how this book was going to be. I was unable to read the book as I couldn’t stay focus on the book. I enjoyed the book over all. The multiple story lines are great. I am glad I actually gave this book a chance. Now I understand why this book isn’t for everyone.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. There are definitely trigger warnings, but I would definitely recommend!

If you want have an internal dialog about love and hate and the fine balance between the two, THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU! AND.......if you are ready to CRASH into an honest depiction of human trafficking by the satanic government and other powerful people, this book is FOR YOU.

perfect for those who have a cnc kink. in love. my new favorite series. definitely not for the faint of heart though, keep in mind.

Not for YA

I say this book should be for 21+. Read the Trigger Warnings and multiply it. I do not agree with the actions and young woman or woman should not ever feel this is appropriate behavior.

Do I want to give my full consent for a man who is obsessed with me to dominate me like this. Yes. H D Carlton has me questioning my sanity and morals with this book 😅
My soul left my body with each encounter.
But also read the reviews bc this book may very well not be for you bc of it.

The murder mystery fell flat for me. The house and diary entries were tied fully to that and even though there was a twist and Aw at the end for what the grandma and mom had to endure idk I just thought it would have been more interesting.
Maybe too much going on with main characters and his life. I loved the story though as cringe as it may be to others.

Amazing Narration!

I wrote my full review on Goodreads so I will mainly talk about the narration which was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Teddy and Michelle did such a great job and the best part was it was a duet! These 2 brought these characters to life! I did enjoy the story for the most part it's definitely one of those books you have to 1) be in the mood for dark and 2) like violent spice (CNC,NON/DUB CON, PRIMAL PLAY) I am definitely ok with dark but the violent spice isn't really my thing if it's the only spice which it was. when she's talking about him bitting her lady bits I was just cringing 😬 but this is all just personal preferences. I will definitely listen to book 2 when it comes out on audiobook.
