Pretty good book

this was a pretty good book gave some very valuable and actionable tips. definitely a good source of reference before attending most events

Good reminders throughout

I was asked to read this book before attending a conference. There were a number of good pieces of advice. It could be very helpful for someone who feels nervous entering a group setting. The book is presented through a series of stories and interactions. Many are quite enjoyable.

It felt repetitive at times and could be condensed without losing much of the message. After a few chapters I just skipped through to the end for the “reminders.”

Susan is warm and funny. Im going to try some advice at my next event. Im beginning to believe that meeting people is the key to success.

Good book poor narration

This book has very good advice, but the author does not narrate the book very well. I found it hard to listen to for long periods of time. It might have been better to get a professional voice actor to read the book.
