the author gives a lot of great advice and it's one of the best audio records I've heard.

Very Helpful Advice

This book has very good advice, but the author does not narrate the book very well. I found it hard to listen to for long periods of time. It might have been better to get a professional voice actor to read the book.

Good book poor narration

This book was recommended by the author of BEGINNING NEUROFEEDBACK IN YOUR PRACTICE. I’m not sure how much it has to do with Neurofeedback, but it gave some positive common-sense advice. Nothing super ground-breaking. At times, the author gets very passionate about her stories- almost as if she is reliving them.

I was asked to read this book before attending a conference. There were a number of good pieces of advice. It could be very helpful for someone who feels nervous entering a group setting. The book is presented through a series of stories and interactions. Many are quite enjoyable.

It felt repetitive at times and could be condensed without losing much of the message. After a few chapters I just skipped through to the end for the “reminders.”

Good reminders throughout
