Comprehensive Guide!!!

Wow, this audiobook goes over everything you need to know about buying and importing a car from Japan. the author clearly has done this numerous times and walks you through the entire process and shares with you a personal story so you can learn from their mistake. Prior to listening to this audiobook I had no idea that Japan required a strict renewal and inspection on cars after three years, thereby making it very beneficial to buy a used car from Japan after it was three years old. I also did not know or understand about their rating system for used cars, both the interior rear and the exterior. This book was an eye-opener.

Interesting

This is an interesting and unique book- one of its kind. In just over half hour, the author tells you everything you need to know to buy and import Japanese vehicles such as hiring an exporter and a customs broker, finding your vehicle, shipping, importing and registering the vehicle. A must if you are a Japanese car lover and interested in importing them.

Real life and up to date info!

It's obvious that the author has a passion for Japanese vehicles. This book actually made me want to import one even more than before, I'm hooked! The author clearly has experience and the information is valid and up to date. If you are interested in importing a vehicle, you should definitely read this book. Also, this book is not dry and boring at all! I was seriously having fun while listening! Well done!

I was hoping to start buying some older Mitsubishi classics from Japan and selling them where I live. I was so happy when I found this audible. Alex Masuda does an amazing job of describing everything you need to know, from why there is a huge market for used cars that are sold for really cheap in Japan. It was eye-opening to learn how many people in Japan opt to buy new cars instead of keeping their old vehicles, which makes for an excellent opportunity for car buyers around the world. I had never considered importing a vehicle from Japan, but now that I know the process, it is something that I am going to look more into.

The narrator was also fantastic and made listening to this audiobook a true pleasure. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in owning their dream 4x4 camper van, sports car, turbo diesel, or even flipping for a profit.
