The guardians of Ga’Hoole deserve a better narrator!
I love this series and I just realized we had the all the books included in our membership and I got really excited so I downloaded all of them and I got really disappointed because the narrator was sooooooo awful. The voices are either too deep or too high and it’s just not worth your time you should read the books Instead and PLEASE don’t sing the songs it’s so awful!!!!!!

Eglantine got the spotlight, loved it
Loved how Eglantine got the spotlight and developed as a character in this book. The stakes were high and there was lots of excitement. The narrator really brings out the personalities of each character.

The Guardian Series is Excellent!
My eight-year old and I listened to the first eight Guardians of Ga'Hoole books and enjoyed them all immensely. Being a bird lover, these tales are especially fun and for weeks on end, our world became the world of the Guardians. Pamela Garelick's narration is very good; only her voice for Gyflie was a bit annoying (the voice was very high) though I got used to it. Unfortunately, the next seven books have not yet been recorded so we're reading them ourselves!

FAVORITE SO FAR!
This one is a favorite! This installment centers around little Egglantine (Soren’s baby sister) and her best friend Primrose. As well as a somewhat devious new character, Ginger, a refugee from the Enemy, who attempts to get very close to young Egglantine. Lots of adventure ensues as this darling story continues….☺️. As usual the narrator does a very fine job!

Danger everywhere.
This book is more from the point of view of Eglantine and Primrose, and how they are being used by the Pure Ones. Not my favorite of the series but still good. I look forward to listening to more as the plot gets more intense and dangerous for the Guardians. I tend to look up all the different breeds of birds that are mentioned in the story, gives me more of a perspective of the story. Narrator is good, I usually can tell who is who, just by her voices.

A lot less repeating than previous books. Not too much action but focuses on building a story for vengeance. This book also focuses more on the character growth of Egglentine.
