Publisher's summary

It only took seconds for my world to change....

I live a simple, small-town life. Helping with the family restaurant, my side gig as a ride-share driver, hanging with my best friend, and making the most of the extra time with my ghost grandma. The only exciting thing to happen to me in the past year was when Gabe moved to town—too bad Nonna scared him off. It’s hard to impress a guy when your dead grandmother calls him the devil.

The last thing I expect when I pick up a ride-share client and take him to Mannix Estate is that he’s a demon. An actual, breathing, can-kill-me-with-a-thought demon. That night blows my simple life apart and changes everything. Turns out, ghosts aren’t the weirdest things out there, my best friend and Gabe are both part of this alternate world, and there’s a big bad demon who wants to end us all. What’s a small-town boy to do but roll up his sleeves and join the fight to save the world?

Working side by side with Gabe reminds me just how much I liked him when we first met, and the feeling’s mutual. As the clock counts down and we both struggle with personal issues, it’s good to know there’s someone to lean on. But I don’t know if our tenuous connection can survive the hell that’s coming and see us through to the other side.

Gateway Catastrophe

😮🤯🙊🥺😮‍💨🥰😁
Yep, that about sums it up.

That was one hell of a ride. I’m sad to see this series end but cannot wait for the spin-off. I need Ian’s book… as soon as Louisa can get around to it … I’ll wait patiently. Promise.

Must be listened to in order. Seriously, start at the beginning, you won’t regret it. And if you’ve started at the beginning then what are you waiting for? Dive in, you won’t regret it.

Nick did a wonderful job as always.

Highly recommend.

Great book!!!

I love these characters so much! This book is Gabe and Tom's story, and they are so cute together. I love the ghostly interference they get from Nonna as well as Norville. I really enjoy seeing the other characters from the previous books as well. I know this is the last book in this series, but I would definitely read more if they ever come to be.

Recommended but a little jumpy

enjoyed completing the story but the telling seemed too long in parts and jumped over explanations in others. Prior books are required to understand what's going on. Thoroughly enjoyed the story including all characters from other books interacting in the storyline.

Very enjoyable

Things are getting really tense at the Estate and some of the crew are faced with a devastating truth. Reluctantly they are forced to play nice with Marc their resident higher demon and I can’t wait to get into the next one.

Is this the end?

This review is for the entire series, at least so far. I am assuming it ends here but I hope not as I really adore the Mannix family. All the books are interesting and fun to read or listen to. This one was a bit intense because this one deals with the build up of the other books and puts everything together. Have some tissues with you at the end, definitely tears induced. Gabe and Tom are just adorkable and while this one has less romance to it, it’s got serious plot and we have seen these two coming since book two! Read the entire series it’s an excellent paranormal series that is well written and narrated

Delightful conclusion

I truly loved this series. I enjoy the combo of ghosties and romance very much; my fave m/m verse. The characters were great, and the ghosts a hoot.

Loved it!

It was a great read as an ebook, but this audio is even better. The narrator did an excellent job. I loved Gabe and Tom’s story. I’m looking forward to more in the series.

Great ending!

Love the entire series and this was a great ending. Tom and Gabe were wonderful characters as well as Marc and the brothers. I loved the way all the characters were brought in and the creative way she saved the world! Highly recommend and will listen again as the performance was wonderful.
