From number-one New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts comes a classic tale about the promises we dare to keep…to those we dare to love!
He has supposedly come to her father's estate looking for respite. But Kirby Fairchild can't shake the feeling that handsome Adam Haines isn't quite the man he pretends to be. She couldn't be sure. What would have made The Art of Deception better?
Characters that are believable. What could Nora Roberts have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
She could have written about how real people behave.Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Christina Traister?
I have no idea. I couldn't get past the awful characters. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
First of all, I am NOT a fan of reality programs, especially those that detail the lifestyles of the rich and spoiled. The last thing I want to do is to read or listen to a book that's the equivalent.Any additional comments?
Nora where are you? Come back and write a good book again. People want to read about people who behave like real people, not spoiled, silly, dramatic stereotypical "creative" nutcases. Just boring. The Art of Boring a Reader to Death
