It’s Always Been You.

I love friends to lovers and it’s always been you. There’s just something about realizing your person has been the one who has shown up for you time and time again. I was incredibly excited for king and Saylor’s story and it did not disappoint. There were some scenes in this story that felt a little disconnected for me. The lunch meeting and backyard celebration being some examples. I loved the scenes, I just didn’t like the flow. Cannot wait for the next in the series! 9/10 recommend this one.

Another great one!

Loving this series and having CJ Bloom and Jason Clarke narrate was sheer perfection. This is a new author to me and I’ve enjoyed these so much! Perfect length and great stories. Looking forward to number 4

He is her forbidden king!

I love spending time with this ‘Ride or Die’ group of friends and I am so happy to finally have this much anticipated story and Forbidden King is everything I hoped it would be.
This group of friends are found family and truly have a special bond. So, as King finds himself falling for his best friend’s sister he is also torn because he doesn’t want any to jeopardize the friendship he has with her brother. What no one knows however is the special bond that he and Saylor shared when they were younger and were struggling with what life through at them but they never crossed a line until now. They tried to fight the pull they felt towards one another, but it was so easy for them to fall back into the same comfortable relationship and this time they can’t deny that they have always loved each other.
I also had the added benefit of listening to the audio version of this book and the narrators absolutely added to my enjoyment of this story!

Cute and angsty

Forbidden King is the third book in the Magnolia Falls series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Friends to lovers is always a fun trope. I mean, you see their friendship and how they’re always there for each other. And then they slowly realize that they have feelings stronger than just friendship. Ah, I love it.

Kingston and Saylor were friends since childhood, and he was always her safe place. And now, he’s more protective.

I loved the way he was so supportive of her dreams. And their little game was cute!

They had so much chemistry, especially since they’d already been close. And they had great banter too.

There was some angst because Saylor’s brother was best friends with Kingston, and they weren’t supposed to be together. Kingston was a loyal friend, but his love for Saylor was stronger.

This was such a cute and easy read. And I’m so excited for the next book!

Oh how I couldn’t wait to read King’s book! This series is one of my favorites and this friend group are in a league of their own. I absolutely devoured this book. Narratives were perfect. King had me cracking up the whole time. King and Saylor have this bond that’s untouchable. I’m excited for the next book.
