learned a little about a lot of places in Europe. good overview for future travels.

Very calming but witty.

Rick Steves has a calming way of narrating his stories. He answers most of the questions we are afraid to ask of the many cultures he experiences. His witty humor is very frank and surprising at times. I really enjoyed this audiobook.

Incredibly Enjoyable

Having visited some of the places Rick highlights here, I had to smile and revisit them with his words. You can hear the delight and down to earthedness while he tells a bit about his love of Europe. Seems Rick likes to get tipsy and naked in a lot of countries!!! I can respect that!!!

What a great book that was, I have always cherished his television series but this book just topped it off. Hope you do several more books if you can. Everyone can benefit from your experiences and knowledge of traveling.

Inspirational

Rick covers not only where to travel but how to travel. With a wide range of destinations he points out differences in foods and customs and reminds us to appreciate those differences rather than compare to our American ways.
