Patterson offers some amusing and worthwhile insights, I enjoyed it and I've never read any of his books.

Loved hearing about his youth

I’ve met James Patterson at a book signing. He took his time to chat with everyone in line and was so super nice. I love his books and it was so nice listen to this audio book and learn about his life. I’m anxious to read some of his favorite books that he names in the book. So happy I purchased this as an audio book. I felt like I was a guest in his home and he was telling me some of his adventures. If you are a fan, buy this book. You’ll thoroughly enjoy it.

Awesome!

Tried to give five stars for all three! My phone didn’t cooperate. My mom started reading your books years ago. As she would say. Anything with murder, madness and mayhem she loved. She taught me to love books before I could read them. I love every book I have read that you have written. Thank you for sharing stories about you! A big fan and I won’t stalk you!

My first Patterson experience

I have never read one of his books, but I know how popular he is, and I read his own by a graffiti. It was really good, and now I will begin reading his books.

I ❤️ hearing the excitement in Mr. Patterson's voice as he tells the background of Alex Cross to his best friend, love of his life, Sue, & the pride he has in his son, Jack.

A bit disjointed by likeable

I felt his reading his own book was nice. His life is not at all what I had imagined. And his personal luck, tragedies and business success are all very interesting, but I haven't figured how to apply them to my life. But others might.

I would put this down as more of a fun read than most, but having nothing terribly lasting as a take-away -- at least for me. Maybe I will change my mind later.

Telling his own story

Great listen. I’m a big fan of Patterson and this bio was great! Seeing inside his heart and mind.

Took a few chapters to get into the style but loved the quick memories of James Patterson's life.
