This Is What Divorce Feels Like

There are a couple of other reviews stating they didn’t like the female character because she was always complaining and self-deprecating.

I found this book refreshing. When you go through a divorce, women often don’t feel attractive or “good enough.” Been there, done that and I could really empathize with Blakely. I also loved that Slade understood that and really helped her find herself again.

It doesn’t hurt that they had an immediate connection with each other. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend to anyone. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments mixed in with steamy attraction.

A Hallmark Channel story

I was on the fence about this one in the beginning, but once I got into the story- I couldn't get enough! Slade Henderson.. SWOON! Wonderful story and a lesson to never give up on finding the love you deserve ❤

Sweet love story

This is one of the sweetest love stories that I have heard. Best of all both the man and woman are smart, funny and relatable people! I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!

Fun Story

I really enjoyed this cute and flirty age gap story. Zachary Webber's narration was spot on, as always.

Blakely and Slade

I really liked this story about Blakely having a midlife crisis after her husband divorces her and he turns around and gets engaged to a younger version of her. Slade sees her at the bar and they end up talking about what she feels has gone wrong with her life. He steps away to take a phone call and she gets cold feet about being attracted to a younger man. He doesn't get her contact information and feels like he's missing out on a good thing with her. Fate brings them together and takes them on a journey of self-discovery and growth for both of them. I thought Emma Wilder and Zachary Webber were perfect as the narrators. I can't wait for K. Bromberg's next book. She always writes such wonderful books.

Sweet and Sexy Contemporary Romance!

Flirting with 40 is a beautifully written contemporary romance. Blakely and Slade are both great characters. They share an instant attraction and a strong chemistry. I love all about this sweet and sexy romance. Blakely is beautiful, but insecure, and she needs to find her strength, and happiness, after her divorce. Slade, a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, is handsome, and sexy. He is younger than Blakely, but he is mature, caring, and supportive. He has been suspended from work after an unfortunate incident, and he is waiting to retrieve his right to practice. They are perfect together, and they are supportive of each other. The storyline is lighthearted, but it has some dramas, and twists and turns. I love the ending. Zachary Webber and Emma Wilder did a great job with the narration. I love Emma Wilder's male voice! Their voices are great together. I enjoyed it.

Good listen

This was a great book. Female lead was not a dingy 20 year old, which was refreshing. The storyline was good, performance was good. Male character was a little unbelievable but I still enjoyed it. Going to check out more from this author.

Great story ..very hot!

Zachary and Emma have such great voices. Easy on the ear and conjures up such hot images! I can listen to Zachary 's voice for hours!!
