Great!

This was a really helpful audiobook that has helped me get off to the right start in 2018. I'll listen to this one again when I need a little motivation pick me up. Great narration. HIghly recommend!

Get Motivated!

As a personal trainer, I really enjoyed reading this book and was hoping for some motivation that I could bring to my clients. James Atkinson really knows his stuff and he just seems like he really wants people to succeed. I'm excited to use his methods in my own personal life to motivate myself and others around me.

Just the motivation I needed!

James "Jim" Atkinson has written a very motivating book on fitness and exercise. He has shared his personal stories and experiences on what works and doesn't work. I can definitely see myself listening to this book again whenever I need a nudge in the right direction.

Outstanding

Simple, to the point. This book is designed to help you be the one in every ten that sticks with their fitness plan and incorporates it as part of a healthy lifestyle. Being aware of the pitfalls being one part, overcoming the inertia of bad habits is the other. The author helps with both.

An effective book to motivate you to get fit

James Atkinson made such an enjoyable book with an excellent narraton as Matt Addis. I can confortably say that it might be one of the best books of fitness I have heard of until today.
It will not focus in what series you need to do, how to buff up, what kind of suplements you might need to eat, or what is the latest diet you have to follow now. Instead, it gives you a down to earth approach of how to motivate yourself, and especially why should you excercise!
It maybe the first step to aquiring the mindset you need to live with more health for the rest of your life, using a light humour, real facts and some sweet stories to convice the listener to not take James advice for granted. Matt makes the listening of the book so easy with an perfect narration, it really deservers congratulations for such wonderfull job of this duo!

Really sound advice.

In this book, Jim conveys really sound fitness advice and offers several free resources from his website. He even offers one-on-one email coaching for listeners and readers of his books. His insight into what it takes to stick with it in the gym is very valuable, and his advice on diet is useful, too. The narrator is excellent.
I liked this book very much.

Good book!

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. Good, honest, straightforward advice. Narration was delivered with clever and humorous anecdotes. Would recommend this book for anyone looking for some motivation in starting a new fitness regime.

Loved it!!

This is so well written and read.

James has struggled himself in the past and has captured the minute detail of why people can fail.
This detail is what I needed. It is so deep and insightful that I have the new knowledge etched in my mitochondria forever.

The though process is everything to me and he nailed it. So important for my motivation

Will be looking to buy another one of his books as he is so down to earth and humble and my type of person.

Now watching him on YouTube and he is such a likeable character and wish him every success.
Please go to YouTube and give him a thumbs up as would like more people to listen to him as he is so very different from other personal trainers. Unique and inspirational.

An easy read, with some key messages

I enjoyed the book, but I did have multiple breaks and some of the information was repeated. I look forward to checking out the Facebook and website information.

not enough on mindset for me

i did finish it and although it might inspire some i was really looking for some practical ways on overall mindset training, I think i will be looking for a mindset book, and i know i just need to get up and do it but keep losing that motivation.

Good motivational guide

Excellent advice from somebody who has learnt the hard way, the narrator read the book really well and added to the experience. The audio format is a good Idea, it enabled me to listen during my drive to the gym prior to work

Started listening in the gym. finished in the gym.

what a better way to stay motivated than to have this on whilst rowing away in the gym! I've gone on to buy another book by James Atkinson and have found a much better use of my resistance bands than stuffed in the wardrobe hidden from view. I've already got one of the mantras attached to my brain when I don't feel like working out....and even on the one day I felt way too tired I took myself off for a walk and managed to use up 250 calories....I'm actually in the gym 'Jim' writing this review sat raring to go... I'll definitely be visiting the website and watching out for more....thank you Adele

Great listen - About fitness and life

I really enjoyed this. Although the focus is on fitness, it is also about life and tips to become successful through developing dedication and visualising what is possible. The important aspect was have to achieve the vision. Well done and I will have to listen to this again...and again.
