This should only be listened to not read

Would you listen to Fifty Shelves of Grey again? Why?

Absolutely, first some of the BEST narrators that Audible has narrated the stories in this book. Each one is only about 3 to 7 minuets long tops.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shelves of Grey?

Since there are "Fifty Stories" from various Famous books From The Three Musketeers, to Pillars of the Earth. There were several Laugh out loud moments for me One of which was "The Picture of Dorian Gray" & "Fifty Shads of Gray" (which is the last story)

What does full cast bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I can't imagine getting the same experience from reading when you have some of the greatest narrators reading these stories...One of the best parts if you've listened to Pillars of the Earth, you know that John Lee narrates that, he also narrates the small spoof in this book. It is perfect.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Nothing in this book made me cry, but I did have some really good laugh out loud moments that you just can't get by reading. A good narrator can enhance a moment in a story, and really help you visualize the moment. Simon Vance, Roslyn Landor, John Lee and many others made this collection really enjoyable. I listened to in one day.

Any additional comments?

I would love to see more collections like this, with great narrators. I know I'll listen to this again because I enjoyed so much. Some books should only be on Audio, this is one of them. Not EVERY story was great, but out of the 50 I'd say 40 were really 4-5 star.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
