Publisher's summary

When you are an inoffensive retired librarian with bitter personal experience of Evil Talking Cats, do you rescue a kitten from the cold on a December night? Do you follow up news items about cats digging in graveyards? Do you inquire into long-ago cats who voyaged around the world with Captain Cook? Well, yes. If you are Alec Charlesworth, that is precisely what you do - with unexpected and terrifying consequences.

Love it, love it, love it !!

This is the second in the series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first for the same reasons. I'm so excited that it seems a third may be set up and I just can't wait (although it seems I will have to). I find myself going back 30 seconds or so several times throughout so that I can listen to certain parts again because they are so clever and funny. Thank you Lynne Truss for this amazing series and these wonderful characters.

Puuuuuurfect!

What did you love best about The Lunar Cats?

I loved that Mike Grady did the narration again. I love that I can use all of the same adjectives to describe this book as I did "Cat out of Hell". I enjoyed every single word of this book and in fact am listening to the series over again.
It is the most unique series I have ever listened to and I truly hope there is a third book on the way soon!

Who was your favorite character and why?

They are all my favorite.

Which character – as performed by Mike Grady – was your favorite?

Wiggy- the part where he is talking to Alec about how cute the kitten is, idk, it almost killed me

hilarious

If you could sum up The Lunar Cats in three words, what would they be?

Funny, strange, unique

What did you like best about this story?

What I liked best about this story was how strangely unique it was. There were some hilarious lines that I had to bookmark to play for people because the lines coupled with the extremely proper sounding British narrator just made it.

Have you listened to any of Mike Grady’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've never listened to Mike Grady, but I will look through his narrations because I really enjoyed his performance.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Several moments in this book stood out for various reasons.

Any additional comments?

When I chose this book, I didn't read the description clearly enough to realize this was a sequel. However, the story stood on its own and i was able to follow it. Now I'm going to go out of order and read the first one.

Ingenius

Brilliantly concocted, exquisitely written. Full of love and laughter. Performed by an actor “infinite in faculty”.
