Amazing Book in an Exceptional Series!
The Outlander series has captured my attention like no other. It is intriguing, engaging, and well written. It is so easy to let go and see characters play out their stories in my mind. Detail like never before
This book was really different than the others in some ways while still fitting in seamlessly with the story we are following of Jamie and Claire. I enjoyed it but Gabaldon goes into incredible detail and it was a little more tedious than the rest. I'm wondering why Jamie keeps sending Roger into harms way, and I hope he stops sending him on death missions in the next book. Porter is, as usual, a brilliant narrator.

Jamie and Claire!
I enjoyed this book a bit more than the last one. It was long, though. It seems all her books keep getting longer and longer. Although, I enjoy very much every single thing that happens in every single one of her character’s lives, I’m not sure we need every single thought.
The problem is I am absolutely addicted to all of the characters in those books that I can’t help but keep going. I love Jamie Fraser and Claire in their oldish age, and reading about Bree getting her life started. I am so happy, so happy that one of my favorite little characters came back!! Woot!
I think the only thing that bothers me is the characters go through so many problems. I mean, I just don’t see that much bad happening to the same group of people as much as it does in these books. I swear, they never get a break. It’s always something and then ten more things on top of it. It’s crazy.
I have two more books to go until I sit around waiting like everyone else for the next one to come out.

Wonderful seriew
Would you consider the audio edition of The Fiery Cross to be better than the print version?
I prefer an audio book to a printed version. I just can't wait for the 8th book to come out. Diana Gabaldon is a fantastic writer.
