Publisher's summary

Offering a fresh twist on Kris Kringle, a clever yet heartfelt audiobook that tells the story of a black Santa, his white husband, and their life in the North Pole.

Everyone knows that Santa Claus is jolly, but in Santa's Husband, this cherished symbol of the holiday season is also black and gay, and married to an equally cheery man.

In this witty and sweet Christmas tale, humor writer Daniel Kibblesmith introduces us to Mr. and Mr. Claus and gives us a glimpse of their lives together. We see the Clauses sitting by the fire at their cozy North Pole home, vacationing at the beach, having an occasional disagreement, celebrating their wedding day, and comforting each other when some loudmouth people on television angrily dispute Santa's appearance and lifestyle.

In the weeks before Christmas, Santa's husband helps with all the pre-Christmas work, from double-checking lists to feeding the reindeer (organic gluten-free grains, of course) to negotiating labor disputes with the restive workshop elves. At the height of toy-making season, he even fills in for his busy hubby at the mall to ensure every child can meet the Big Guy in the red suit and give him their wish list.

As this charming audiobook reminds us, Santa Claus can come in all shapes and colors and sizes - just like the children and families he visits all over the world each Christmas Eve.

Santa's Husband is a delightful gift for listeners of all ages.

Meant to be Read with the Physical Book

Great quick listen but it's that audiobook that's paired with having the actual book to flip through.

Good and ground breaking story

Not the best as an audio book. Buy the hard copy, it’s a cute book and touched on an important topic. I am a happy and proud owner of the written book.
The audiobook just doesn’t do it justice. Buy the book.

Boring

What would have made Santa's Husband better?

This was too boring. I became exhausted and started falling asleep. I do, however, want to marry a man.

What was most disappointing about Daniel Kibblesmith and A. P. Quach ’s story?

Too childish.

Would you be willing to try another one of Daniel Kibblesmith’s performances?

No.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Santa's Husband?

The part about "a spectacular dental plan" was dumb.

Any additional comments?

Can you help me, a gay Christian man, find a man to love and marry?

Left Wing agenda disguised as a children's book

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

85% of spoiled rotten college students. I generally remain in the middle, but this type of author actually creates more resistance towards the noble cause of fair equity for everyone. Essentially, in the end, silly books like Daniel Kibblesmith's "Santa's Husband" only end up preaching to the choir.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Anything opposing one-sided agendas. Nothing FOX News for sure, for this matter.

What didn’t you like about Daniel Kibblesmith’s performance?

His run of the mill, uninspiring mediocrity.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The ability to post my review.

Any additional comments?

Daniel Kibblesmith appears to be another short-end dive author; not a leader, but just another unoriginal opportunist, holding onto a populist wagon with its wheels falling off. If he must, he should at least grab a wrench, and help fix the problem, if he's looking to cash in on sensitive matters, as he obviously is with this propaganda.
