Not her best work
It was too pervie for my liking. The thought of a 28 year old man crushing on a 15/16 year old is gross. I just could not get past his grooming of a child. I have enjoyed this author’s other novels but this one was just not enjoyable.

Excruciatingly boring.
Would you try another book from Paige Toon and/or Jane Collingwood?
No
What could Paige Toon have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Improve characterization, add humor, avoid cliches.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The performer did a good job with the Australian accents
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Boredom. I stuck with the book for four chapters, hoping it would improve, but it remained at the same trivial level.
