Publisher's Summary

Sarah Roberts used to be good. Then she did something bad. Very bad. Now, years later, she’s living a good life. She works as a local newspaper reporter and lives with her saintly boyfriend, Jonathan. She has no reason to think her guilty past will ever catch up with her... until Nick walks back into her life. And suddenly, what’s good and bad aren’t so clear to Sarah anymore.

I Did a Bad Thing is dark, funny, wicked and true. Because haven’t we all got a guilty secret?

I did a bad thing

Any additional comments?

The story was ok. I really struggled to get in to this story, usually I really enjoy Linda Green but this one started slowly. It got pretty good about half way through though.

Extremely Enjoyable

Very enjoyable listen. Easy read and kept me wanting to find out what happens.

So-so story, very enjoyable reader....

Predictable story, but love the reader and genre. Suzy Aitchinson always adds a bit more to what ever she reads. Definitely a white bread listen.

Enjoyed everything but the rush to end the story

The story was believable and had a few humorous moments. It isn't a gripping book but it isn't terribly boring either.

Very boring

I gave up about half-way through this chicklit romance as I could not bear to listen to the 'heroine' mooning any more about the man she purportedly loves. The story covers two periods of time alternately, their first meetings and their second meetings, several years later. There is an attempt to liven the story with some political interest and a thread about freedom of the press but these are frequently broken up with the heroine having 'heart-stopping moments' and either catching or not catching the 'hero's' eye across a crowded room! I quickly stopped caring one way or another.
