Publisher's Summary

For years, I lived with him as roommates. Then, one fateful night, things changed. We became more. So much more. The sex was out of this world. Being his boy was the highlight of my day. Until feelings started to creep in and sex wasn't enough for me. Afraid of losing him, I kept quiet and hoped for a miracle. Could my Daddy love me, too? Or would I continue to be his boy, his play toy?

Finally! Dual narration done right !!!

I LOVE audio books and I'm picky about narration. I'm not usually a big fan of dual narration and would rather have one good narrator - Even when both narrators are Excellent, you still have to get used to how the other person voices the same characters.

In 'His Boy' each MC has his own narrator. ALL the lines for that character are voiced ONLY by that narrator!!! When the point of view switches, the narrator for that MC tells the story and voices the other characters, but all the MC lines are performed by their own narrator.

Doing the narration this way is amazing! It improves the story and performance above the level of either of these narrators on their own. Audible Studio, and others take note; THIS is how ALL dual narration should be done!

The notes for w/ the book pretty much spell out the story, except for a sweet little twist in the epilogue. But it is the narration that brings the characters' Hot chemistry to life!

Hot, Sexy & Kinky!! Narrators were PERFECT!!!

If you could sum up His Boy in three words, what would they be?

KINKY, HOT & SWEET!!!!!

Any additional comments?

I do not read many audio books, however, His Boy is one that I could not pass up!! Bink Cummings chose two Narrators voices who fit the characters to a T! The narrators had so much expression while reading, even the kinky scenes, they made all the right sounds. ;) If you have not read/heard this book you need to.. You get the whole enchilada in the audio book, an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING read with panty wetting voices. Sexy sweet Asher and a deep gravely Justin!!!! Justin is hot, bossy, possessive with a whole lot of sweetness and Asher is the cute, shy, geek but oh so sexy in the geeky way . Justin and Asher’s chemistry was electrifying. They were kinky, exciting, explosive!Bink Cummings you Rock My World! Much Love!

HOT HOT HOT

I really shouldn't have listened to this at work, I'm squirming in my chair. This is definitely an at home listen, when you're alone, or with someone special. I loved the story and the narrators are fantastic.

Steamy M/M sex with a great underlying romance.

While I have read a couple of M/M books, there haven't been many and this is the first I've listened to via Audible. It was definitely a much different experience listening to the book as opposed to simply reading it. Listening to it seemed to make it far more real. I really liked both of the narrators, Nick J. Russo and Dorian Bane. I think their voices fit the characters very well.

I enjoyed this book. Bink Cummings has a unique writing style in which the characters speak to the audience from time to time. It is different from most of the books I read, but it can be a pleasant change from the norm. In this book, Justin, a firefighter, is definitely the more dominant partner in the relationship. Asher, who works from home for the government, has always been the more quiet type, easily blending into the background. They are two very different people who have been living platonically in the same house for several years. Now that they have a sexual relationship, Asher is doing his best to keep his emotions out of the equation and not quite succeeding. Justin is convinced he has no feelings for Asher until Asher makes a drowsy proclamation of love (which he apparently does not remember doing). I really enjoyed the romance between the two men. We get to hear a bit of the backstory on how they came to be lovers and we watch them progress from simply sex partners to something much, much more over the course of the book. The book ends HEA and with no cliffhanger.

While I'm not sure whether or not this book is technically part of the Corrupt Chaos MC series, we get to revisit a lot of old friends from Beyond Her Words. When I finished Beyond Her Words I was dying to read more about the Corrupt Chaos MC and I was thrilled when I discovered this book tied into that a bit. After having another taste of the MC I definitely want more!

This book contains a lot of very explicit M/M sex. If that offends you or makes you very uncomfortable, this is definitely not the book for you. The book also contains a fair amount of profanity.

I can't stop smiling.

I thought this would be another raunchy tale, and it was... but it was also beautiful. I loved it from the first word to the last.

Awesome Narration!!

This is a hard one for me to rate/review. There were things I really liked and things I didn't like at all.

I liked the story line, I loved the characters and the relationship they have! I'm a sucker for a friends to lovers story. Their love story is sweet and beautiful. I always find it easy to feel the love when there is a history.

The things I didn't like were few but a huge part of this book. I have a thing for "daddy" role playing and if I had know this book was FILLED with it I probably wouldn't have even tried it. But that is just a personal preference and does not affect the rating of this book. I just wanted to warn others in case that isn't for them either. My biggest dislike was that these characters seemed to be obsessed with specific sexual act so much so that it almost felt like an advertisement for it. It's inappropriate for a review so I will just say that they spoke and did this act SO much that I could picture it completely in my head after getting about 20 play by play descriptions on just the one act alone. I know people have fetishes and what not but in a love story I need a little variety and some tenderness too. I will say that the ending made up for the lack of tenderness and redeemed this book for me.

The narration was great! I loved Justin's voice so much! I will be looking for that narrator again!

Dual narration done the right way!!

Any additional comments?

I got this audio specifically because the of the dual POV narration.

THIS. This is how all dual narrator narration should be done! With each narrator taking certain characters and sticking to them regardless of who's POV is in charge at the time.

I LOVED the narration for this!

The story, however, was far outside my comfort zone and didn't really appeal to me at all. The daddy kink, the possessiveness, the high-handed way Justin just decides what's going to happen and doesn't even discuss it with Asher? All grated on my nerves. (2 stars for the story - and that's mainly because even though the daddy kink made me uncomfortable, the sex was hot as hell, and, also, I did finish the book.)

5 stars for the narration - mainly because I am so over the top happy at having proper dual narration done. But also because Nick and Dorian did a fantastic job. Their character voices fit each person, it was pretty seamlessly blended, and I was really happy to listen.

I really hope other narrators will take note of this and follow suit. Nothing is more annoying than getting two different character voices for the SAME character in the same book.

OMG!! Hot

What made the experience of listening to His Boy the most enjoyable?

I loved the narrators voices, it really brought the story to life.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the main characters, their flaws, their chemistry, their bond.

What does Nick J. Russo and Dorian Bane bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It was amazing having 2 such amazing voices. It was just amazing. I read the book but hearing it made it a million times more amazing. I wish more books had the two narrators to give the characters more depth.Damn , I felt like I was there experiencing everything-- they were that potent.

If you could take any character from His Boy out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Can't choose I want both-- they are both so hot in different ways

Any additional comments?

This is a must read

Brilliant 5 star

After reading the book first and loving it, I couldn't stop my one click finger when this came out on audio too. The voices are prefect for the characters I had in my head absolutely brilliant.
