Otherworldly invasions. Nuclear meltdowns converted to dark power. A quest assigned by the planet itself.

Three weeks ago the world started anew as buildings literally stood up, fearsome monsters materialized, and humanity’s way of life changed forever. Now, Rockland Barkclay must continue to protect his people from a new threat while dealing with internal issues that keep popping up. For instance, will he choose to heed the warning of his resurrected Ancestral Guide as she notices the edges of an ancient conspiracy?

Things take a turn for the worse thanks to a freshly awakened God - or was it the fearsome evolution of Earth's wildlife? Regardless of the cause, the group discovers something dark and twisted in the Atlantean System, invited by a recent unmanned nuclear catastrophe.

The apocalypse isn’t over; it’s just luring everyone into a false sense of security.

I liked this book but not much is accomplished while loads more of issues arrive. there are also quite a few things that are just illogical and don't make sense like the whole swearing thing.

that said the book is engaging and you get to know the main characters a bit better.

Luke daniels is always awesome.

Good but lacks progress.

I love the little references to the Algonquins and hope that Smith takes a bigger role in future books. Atlantis, the City of Gold, Asgard....the author weaves the legends into the story beautifully. I love the mythos he has created and look forward to many more books.

loved the continuation, just as good as the first one but gave more answer and as always more questions. lol. the progreasion bbn of the story was logical and when u though oh well I would have just done that it gave answer as to why that wasnt a good idea. it still maintained its light hearted airs even though it delved into some heavy stuff at times. the narration as always was spot on

continued excellence

Rocky has saved many of the citizens from Ottawa. Now the hard part will be to bring them safely back to his territory. Many of the newly evolved creatures see a caravan of people as simply an easy meal. If Rocky can get them home, what kind of reception will he have and what kind of life can he provide. He doesn’t know half of the horrors that the Etherverse contains.

I have been very impressed with this series. The rules and side adventures are very wetl thought out. The characters are likable. Sadly, the survival rate is probably about right. Luke Daniels does a great job with this novel.

Territorial growing pains
