No longer content to leave The Four in exile, the King recalls them to the Palace. Before their new orders are given, the Dynasty steals something precious from the King. Going after it is a fool's errand.

That works perfectly for the King: he knows exactly four disposable Ascenders. Being promised freedom, luxuries, and cushy jobs if they are successful—and death upon failure—Luke’s team leaves immediately. As they begin their adventure through the front lines of the invasion, Luke the Murderhobo knows it’s his moment to shine. Monsters, Ascenders, and Assassins are the least of their worries.

All he needs to do is survive everything.

I love this.

I really hope that there are more stories with these characters in them. By the end of the book I want more time with them. I would love to see Luke’s sister put at the beginning of murder world. And I love that the Bard got to Murder world.

Good book had me laughing out loud in the middle of work and getting funny looks.

Please let The 4’S journey continue.

loved the series! definitely going to reread again. I really enjoy books where I can't see how they end in advance.

Almost perfect.

The end made me a bit disappointed on something we missed out on, it wasn't bad, I would've just liked to read more of his journey.

Well done. Well narrated. will be looking forward to the next from this author. The rest of this is just filler. This is more filler.
