it could have been way better

I love this author and I loved the book... the audiobook though not so much. The narrator ruined it for me. She was talking slow and whispery and she was flat. No thrill no emotions nothing. sometimes she did manage to show us something but it was not enough to make me not say that it was boring despite the fact the actual story was pretty hot and interesting.

A little naughty one two three ...

A little naughty tale of true love and lust. The mood is set-just right-not least thanks to the narrator.

HOT HOT HOT

This is a short steamy story. Sempia is born to a life of sexual slavery. She has always known what that entails and hopes that she can become famous in the arena. She still remembers in her childhood how one boy, Eterin, said he would save her. She has since given up on that life. Little does she know that Eterin did not forget her and has come to save her. He did that the only way he knew possible. He was the one that purchased her. However after the main sex scene there is a twist. Eterin's long time friend, Pataryio. The have loved each other for years and did not realize it until Sempia pointed it out to them. It is an amazing story of unconditional love.

Always room for one more in Love!

What made the experience of listening to Strength in Numbers the most enjoyable?

honestly gave up listening half-way through and finished reading to get better feel for characters

What did you like best about this story?

That love can withstand such hardship and still flourish

Would you listen to another book narrated by Angelica Ball?

Not sure, I'm big on second chances but was not very impressed, I did like her accent and maybe this was just not good material for her so maybe.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

no really

Any additional comments?

Sempia was born into sexual slavery and is on the verge of losing her virginity to her new master as the starring act in the ultimate erotic show in a public coliseum, but still wishes her forbidden childhood love would save her. Eterin has never forgotten his love for Sempia and has devoted his life to getting her contract and having her as his wife. But time is running out and he has to move up his plans involving the need for help in the form of his friend Pataryio. There is quite the triangle since Pataryio and Eterin harbor feelings for each other as well as Sempia and it takes quite a bit for the three to work it out once Sempia is safely in the men’s possession and they have all escaped the moon where she was held. It does not take long for the three of them to realize they all belong together, even though only the two of them could publically appear as a family. It was a short, happy ménage story with great characters. I would recommend it!<br/>Angelica Ball has a pleasant voice (love the accent!), however I found it just a bit monosyllabic and lacking differentiation; made characters more one dimensional then they seemed reading it without the audio.

Sweet Naughtiness

What made the experience of listening to Strength in Numbers the most enjoyable?

Well the most enjoyable part of the experience was that I could listen to someone else tell the story of the characters and I had my hands free to work on other things that needed tended to.

What other book might you compare Strength in Numbers to and why?

There are a number of other paranormal (shifter) books that involve a threesome mateship that I would compare this to and that I have enjoyed reading.

What does Angelica Ball bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

her accent actually threw me off for a bit, but it grew on me in time and was easy and smooth.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen to the entire thing in one sitting.
