Beautiful and heartwarming

I’ve already read this book as an ebook and loved it but listening to it puts it on another level. You can feel the emotions just listening to it. The narrators were amazing. The male narrator was exactly how I imagined Leo to sound! The female narrator was the perfect fit for Addie will definitely be looking for more book narrated by them..

So cute

Leo and Adelaide “Addie” had a marriage of convenience, and it was all to help Addie. She was hesitant, because she didn’t want real feelings or attachment, not after what she went through with her ex. But Leo insisted, and she eventually agreed.

The way Leo had zero hesitations when it came to Addie was so swoony. And the way he was with her kids? Ugh, seriously so dang cute. Ooh, and he was really a golden retriever, but when it came to his “wife and kids” well, he was so protective.

Addie definitely got stronger and healed, all because Leo refused to give up on her. And he proved to her over and over that he would always be there.

This was such a great addition to the series, and I cannot wait to see what’s next.

Narration Style: Dual

The narrators were great! They had the perfect voice for their respective character.

As always, everything that comes from the mind of Bella Matthews is utter perfection. And the narrators she chooses? Are exactly how I pictured the characters. The tone in how the speak, the way they express the emotion that's on the page....LOVE IT.


I already had this as an ebook so I read as I listened and with both I was totally immersed in the world created. Gave me a much needed break from reality ❤️

Holy Over Protective Alpha Leo

I truly ended up enjoying Leo and Addie’s story more than I thought! I kept comparing them to the others in the series. And because this was the first couple not in the friend’s circle. I did feel Leo’s insta love was a little off putting in the beginning, just because in previous books, he’s always talking about getting laid. But I loved seeing his protective side! I really enjoyed the plot especially with the ex. It wasn’t just at the end like with other suspense plots in her other books. It actually was a big part of the plot this time, and I love me some suspense! I’m excited for Kill’s story next!

loved the narrators

I liked each narrator and I was able to listen at my usual speed of 2.5 and was able to understand the narrators without them sounding like chipmunks. The voices were just what I envisioned for these characters having read the ebook version previously.
