I loved Maddox and Lennon! Maddox has been the one I’ve been waiting for, I loved his parents book and couldn’t wait for his! It did not disappoint! They were funny, sweet and had hilarious banter. They fell for each other, but could never happen. Then one night, turned into forever. I love a marriage of convenience.

The only thing I didn’t need was when he told her he’d slept with hundreds of women since he found out she was engaged. Like I get the whole playboy thing, but that’s never something a girl wants to hear, idc if they say “I always saw you”, ick it’s a no for me. I get guys and girls are different in that regard, even still nope. Did I expect him to be a monk, no, but kinda lol. Even engaged she’d never been with anyone, then to learn he slept with her cousin…idk about that one.

Aside from that this one has been on of my faves from the series! I can’t wait for Striking!

Absolute Perfection

I have been waiting for Maddox and Lennon and oh man was it everything! These two had so much stacked against them.. like.. a whole freaking Country. Their story was messy and forbidden yet breathtakingly beautiful! 💜

I loved finally getting Maddox’s story and having so many questions answered! Bella has been edging us with Maddox information forever! Lennon was perfect for Maddox. She challenged him and didn’t fall to his feet like most people. These two were such a perfect balance for each other.

🎧 The audio to Breathtaking was absolutely perfecttttt. Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor did an amazing job bringing Maddox and Lennon's story to life. The tension and banter between these two was so good. I could listen to this narration all day long (in fact, I did) 😉

Worth the wait!

I have been waiting for Maddox Beneventi’s story for what feels like forever!
I have been loving the audiobooks for this series and I just knew be absolutely epic! And I was right!

Take 2 phenomenal narrators and add in a Bella Matthew’s story fit for royalty, and what you get is an audiobook that I couldn’t listen to it fast enough!
Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor did an amazing job bringing Maddox and Lennon to my ears! Lennon’s adorably posh accent, Maddox’s sometimes surely, sometimes sweet, always freaking swoon worthy voice, yes please!

I loved Breathtaking so much! And I’m so excited for more in this series coming oh so soon!! Striking, book 6 of the Red Lips and White Lies, comes out later this week. I will be one clicking that audio as soon as it’s available!

Maddox and Lennon

Maddox and Lennon were perfect together and I loved how the story unfolded. I had been looking forward to Maddox story especially after we got a little glimpse of him in Teasing. I loved how these stories are interconnected and how I can always spot what part of the timeline we are at in the different books in this series.

The audio for this book was amazing. Jason Clake and Samantha Brentmoor were the perfect narrators for Lennon and Maddox. They sounded exactly how I imagined them to be, and they did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.

Maddox & Lennon

I’m not normally hugely into a surprise pregnancy, but this story was done so very well. FMC Lennon is a famous ballerina and actual princess. MMC Maddox is a mafia prince from a well-known family. Lennon and Maddox had a long-ago relationship that Lennon broke off because of familial obligations and an arranged engagement to a duke she hates. In an effort to get away for a bit, Lennon flees to America to visit her old roommate and ends up in a snowy car crash and who is miraculously there to save her? Maddox of course. A steamy ONS ensues, and the next day Lennon learns that Maddox slept with her cousin after she broke up with him and flees again back to Europe. Months after, she finds out she’s pregnant. She knows she has to tell Maddox and she has to do it in person. Of course, this is tenuous and scary. Maddox eventually comes around and saves her from the terrible duke and a lifetime of abuse and misery. This is a wonderful story full of drama and angst, but the characters also have adult conversations and pretty much deal with things head on, like adults. They fought for each other and had each other’s backs when it was necessary. I thoroughly loved it!

Perfection

Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor bring Maddox and Lennon to life in the most perfect way. This is one of my favorite books in the series and I adore the audio of it even more. This is exactly how I pictured both Maddox and Lennon sounding!

This is an incredible story with so many emotions and so many highs and lows!

Swoonworthy

I loved Lennon and Maddox, but them on audible…even better!

Lennon is a Princess who is being forced to marry. Man she does not love because of a contract made long ago. She is fierce, sassy, stubborn, and loves her people hard. She will do whatever it takes to protect herself and her baby.

Maddox is a tall, dark and handsome billionaire. He is also charming playboy who loves to live in the fast lane and avoid attachments. He has an amazing family that drives him crazy, but they are loyal and would do anything for their family. He finds himself in love with a princess but she pushes him away and forces him to move on because she is promised to marry another man.

5 months ago they had a passionate night together that left Lennon pregnant. Now she has to return back to Kroydon Hills and break the news to the man she has always loved, but it furious with still.

This book had my heart breaking, me screaming, clapping for joy, and so dang happy they got their HEA. They had to go through so much heartbreak and pain, but the two found their way back to each other and made a family. The story was beautiful, even with the horrible fiancé that had my blood boiling. Maddox was instantly protective over the mother of his child and unborn baby. He would do whatever it took to keep them safe. I also love how his family accepted her instantly and made her part of the family. It showed her what it meant to have a real family, since back home all she really had were her brothers.

Jason and Samantha nailed it with Maddox and Lennon!! The way they brought these characters and this story to life just made my heart so happy. They hade me laughing and swooning.

One of my all time favourite Bella Matthews books!

One of my all time favourite Bella Matthews books! I was lucky enough to read the book early as apart of Bella Matthews Content Team, then was chosen for an audiobook…my previous review is exactly the same but my oh my the narrators have really been able to bring this story to life with their reading of this story.
O.M.G. …screaming…crying…this book is and has absolutely everything!!!
I was excited to read this book and it didn’t disappoint! I devoured it in a few hours.
What’s to say about this book, other than…it is perfection!
Loved how their story was told, we do have to ‘go back in time’ to see how their story starts and how they get to the point of where the book starts and it was done to perfection. I loved how in Bella Matthews books her characters are featured in everyone’s books. This book featured Maddox’s parents and their story was one of my favourites so to see them featured more in this book just added to Maddox and Lennon’s story.
This book can be read as a standalone however to get the full effect of the book start with the first book Bella ever wrote, All In.

Perfect voices for the characters

This book was a fun mix of drama, spice, and chaos. Lennon and Maddox have history, a surprise pregnancy, and a TON of chemistry! She’s a princess, he’s mafia royalty, and somehow it all just works. Their banter was great, the Windsor brothers made me smile (can we get a spin off) and I loved how Maddox was so gone for Lennon. The story moved fast and I wished a few parts had more time to breathe but I still really enjoyed it and would recommend, especially the audio. Samantha Brentmoor’s accent was great and Jason Clarke did an awesome job too. The audio made it super easy to stay hooked. Love this series and mad man didn’t disappoint🥵

Princess and the Player

We are back in Kroydon Hills for Lennon and Maddox's story, and it was a really good time. I'm locked into the world Bella has created and adore these characters. I loved Lennon and Maddox’s second-chance romance story. Maddox is exactly the kind of protector I expected, and he made me love him even more. The way he loves Lennon made me melt. Maddox made some decisions that made me want to shake him, but it was clear he still had deep feelings for Lennon.

Lennon is a strong character who has been through some difficult situations. Although she is a Royal, she is incredibly relatable. I loved the way Maddox stepped in when Lennon needed him the most. Lennon and Maddox were exactly what each other needed, and it was satisfying watching them find their way back to each other. They have a complicated history with some hurt feelings along the way, but ultimately, they were each other's end game. Breathtaking is a wonderful story filled with swoony moments, laughs, steam, and lots of heart.

Narration:
Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke perform this audiobook in dual-style narration. They were the perfect voices for Lennon and Maddox, and wonderfully brought the characters to life. Samantha and Jason are immensely talented, and I can't imagine any other duo as these characters. I loved Samantha's accent, and Jason was the perfect swoony, sweet, and protective Maddox. I enjoyed having Lennon and Maddox in my ears!
