Publisher's Summary

This evocative play is the true story of the stormy romance between the playwright Bernard Shaw and the actress, Mrs Patrick Campbell. She first caught Shaw's eye in 1893 when, young and stunningly beautiful, she created a sensation as the heroine of The Second Mrs Tanqueray. Dear Liar offers an intimate portrait of Shaw, providing far more telling clues to his private personality than any of his plays could hope to do.

I LOVE BERNARD SHAW ❤️

Of course I adore this. I love Bernard Shaw, was the Custodian of his home Shaw’s Corner for 8 wonderful years. A Shaw Specialist I own the GBS Information & Research Service and delight every day having the man in my life. Thank you Bernard Shaw. What a shame Mrs P let you down. But when one is in love, one forgives and you were for ever the gentleman that you were.
